Begin by making yourself as comfortable as possible,
Either sitting up or laying down,
Just nestling in,
Getting into a comfortable position for you.
If you'd like,
You can gently close your eyes and simply connect in with your breath,
Feeling your natural inflow and outflow,
Just feeling your breath in your body,
And with each breath allowing your body to become more and more relaxed.
Breathing in this relaxation and peace,
Feeling a deep peace within your heart,
Feeling yourself filled in this moment,
Just allowing the calmness to flood every cell of your being.
Breathing and relaxing.
Simply being.
And as you become more and more relaxed and still in this moment,
I invite you to envision yourself somewhere special,
Somewhere beautiful,
Somewhere with deep meaning for you,
Perhaps somewhere you and your loved one love to spend time together.
Perhaps a beautiful place in nature,
Whatever that place is for you,
I invite you to start to bring that into your mind's eye and envision yourself there.
And as you see yourself there,
Go ahead and find a beautiful place to rest,
Perhaps there's a couch or a chair or a bench or a blanket in the field,
A towel on the beach,
Whatever that is for you,
Find that comfortable place and allow yourself to sit and breathe,
Carrying that deep inner peace and relaxation to this place,
Feeling your breath in this place.
And as you do,
You can just feel a loving energy surrounding you,
You can feel the love in the air,
The deep peace and the calm and the connection,
There's a sacredness here.
And as you connect to this and breathe this in and feel this more deeply,
You notice a light mist slightly in the distance,
And as you witness it,
You feel a connection to it,
As this mist moves closer slowly,
And as it moves closer,
Notice how it sparkles and observe any colors within it,
It's beautiful,
Peaceful,
And mesmerizing.
And as it slowly comes closer and closer,
It begins to take form,
And as you witness this occurring,
It feels very familiar to you,
And as it is right before you,
It takes full form,
And you recognize it is your loved one,
Your loved one in spirit to come to connect with you,
To comfort you,
As you feel their love and connection you embrace,
And they take a place beside you,
Looking into your eyes,
Holding your hands,
You can feel the love.
Take this time now to embrace this connection,
To have a conversation,
To share what you would love to share with them,
And to receive what they would love to share with you.
Just take a moment to complete your conversation for this moment,
Knowing you will have more opportunities to connect.
Offer your loved one deep gratitude for this time,
And this connection,
And this conversation.
If you'd like,
You can embrace feeling that deep love through every cell of your being,
Feeling that deep,
Sacred connection that is always there,
And lovingly look deep into each other's eyes,
Feeling even though it is time for this conversation and moment to come to a close that your loved one is always with you,
And always around,
And you can have this experience at any time.
And as you share one more deep exchange of love,
Your loved one slowly starts to step back from where they came,
The form gently changing back into a beautiful mist,
And that mist gently floats off into the distance,
And even while it does,
You can feel within your heart and every cell of your being that your loved one and their deep love is still with you,
And is always with you.
And as you breathe that in,
Feel that deep love in your heart,
Feel gratitude for that love,
Feel it within you,
Feel it surrounding you,
Feel yourself always held by that love.
And as you're ready,
Gently begin to walk back from where you came when you arrived at this place,
Thanking this place,
Thanking your loved one,
Thanking this moment for the connection.
Becoming more and more aware of your breath,
Of the gentle inhale and exhale,
Feeling that breath,
Feeling that breath in your body,
And feeling your body in this moment,
In the room that you are in,
Feeling the air on your skin,
And feeling the chair or the couch or the bed,
Whatever is holding you,
Feeling yourself in the room you are in.
And as you are ready,
You can gently begin to move your fingers and your toes,
Take a light stretch,
Just bringing yourself into this moment.
And whenever it feels right for you,
You can gently open your eyes,
Just take a moment to breathe into this space,
To allow yourself to settle into this space,
And to feel that love and that connection still with you in this space,
In this moment.
