Hello,
This will be a meditation for self-acceptance.
So take a minute to get comfortable in your seat,
Closing your eyes,
If that feels good to you today,
Or just resting your gaze,
Taking a moment just to settle,
Noticing your breath,
Feeling the coolness of the air with each inhale and the warmth for each exhale,
Noticing how the air feels moving through your body,
Allowing with each inhale more and more relaxation.
And with each exhale,
Allowing yourself to let go of anything that you no longer need,
Any stress or tension in your body,
Any thoughts,
Working just to soften in this moment,
Letting yourself be who you are with all your uniqueness,
Letting yourself be who you are with all your uniqueness,
Letting yourself be appreciated in this moment,
Welcoming in acceptance for your body,
Knowing that your body serves you in ways that you cannot even imagine,
So with each breath,
Welcoming to accept any sensations you might be feeling in your physical body,
Allowing your breath to help you relax,
But knowing that wherever you are in this moment,
It's okay.
You are exactly where you need to be and your body is exactly how it needs to be,
Knowing that there is nothing wrong with your body,
With who you are.
Your next breath,
Welcoming in acceptance for your mind,
Breathing that in,
Accepting your mind as it is,
Knowing there's nothing you need to change,
Breathing in on your next breath,
Acceptance for your body again as it supports you and more specifically now,
Welcoming in acceptance for your heart,
Both your physical heart,
Also that emotional part of you that loves,
That gives love and receives love,
Accepting your heart,
The heart that allows you to sense and to feel as much as you can in this moment,
Just allowing yourself to be who you are,
Knowing that that is enough,
Knowing that you matter.
There's nothing you have to do.
There's no one you have to be.
There's no way you have to act in order to receive love and acceptance.
You are valued and loved for just who you are,
Allowing any skepticism you have about that just to fade away for the next minute.
And just allow yourself to believe that everything about you is absolutely how it should be.
And it is absolutely wonderful.
Letting that radiate through your body as you begin to deepen your breath,
Coming back into your body,
Taking all the time you need to wake up from this moment in time,
Opening your eyes and going about your day with love,
Acceptance and compassion for who you are.
