Good morning and welcome to this guided meditation of relaxation.

We're just going to spend a couple of moments just settling into this moment by relaxing our breath.

Just be a witness of the breath,

The rise and then the falling of your belly,

Just of the natural breath.

We're not trying to change the breath,

We're just trying to be a witness of the breath.

Settling into this moment.

Now we're going to spend the next couple of moments taking some deeper breath to really settle our body.

We're going to take three deep breaths and as we breathe in we're breathing through our nose and as we breathe deeply we'll bring the focus to our tummy area as though our tummy is a rising balloon.

We'll fill up the bottom of our belly and then into our chest and then release through your mouth nice and slowly and relaxed.

So we're going to begin with our first breath.

And now back to normal,

Riven breath.

Just be a witness of your breath in your tummy area,

Bring your focus to this area and this will take your mind from being a monkey mind into the present moment.

Now be a witness,

Just be present of everything that is around you in the room,

The seat,

The seated position,

Can either whichever way it is,

If it's laying down or seated up.

Just notice your surroundings,

Notice what is supporting your body.

Palms facing up,

Which can be either relaxed on your lap or to the side of your body,

Whatever you prefer.

Now we're going to carry out a little body scan,

Just to really be extra present in this moment.

So we're going to start at the top of our head,

Our hair lines,

Down to our forehead,

Naturally just softening any stress from your morning,

Relaxing any wrinkles,

Softening your temples.

Just really starting to relax into this moment.

And then down to your eyes.

And then through to your left cheek and your right cheek.

And then to your mouth.

Release your tongue from the roof of your mouth,

Relax your jaw at the same time.

As you do this,

You'll notice that every muscle is starting to relax further in your face.

Now bring your attention to your shoulders.

You can roll the shoulders if you wish.

So really relax further.

Now bring your attention to your left arm,

Your left shoulder.

Just down to your elbow,

Feeling heavier as you bring your focus here,

Through down to your wrist and through to your palms and your fingers.

Vision in,

Relaxing from your thumb all the way through to your little finger on your left hand.

Feel free to make a fist on your left hand if you'd like and release to relax this further.

Bring your focus to your right shoulder,

Through down to your elbow,

Down to your wrist.

Vision in from your little finger,

Through to your thumb,

Relaxing every finger.

Now bring your attention to the top of your spine.

We're going to be vision in,

Relaxing every vertebrae all the way down from the top of your spine to your seat bones.

Really relaxing further into this meditation.

At the bottom of your spine,

I invite you to envision a spinning red circle.

This is your root chakra.

This is your space of safety and security.

We're going to spend the next couple of moments really relaxing further and grounding you this morning for relaxation.

Now I invite you to envision two strong big red roots growing from each leg from your root chakra.

Down your thighs,

Over your knees,

The backs of your calves,

Through to your ankles,

Over the tops of your feet and into the bottom of your feet.

Then into the ground beneath you,

Spreading into Mother Earth.

Your roots can go as far and as wide as you would like this morning.

Mingling with Mother Earth,

Feeling grounded and supported and held and safe.

Your roots mingling with other tree roots and feeling supported and loved.

Just spend a moment here.

I invite you to bring your attention to the crown of your head.

A flower that is opening up at the top of your head petals opening one by one,

Slowly softening.

I welcome you to envision a beautiful healing light shining down from the universe.

A white healing light coming through to your flower and into your crown.

Visioning this beautiful healing light working through your hairline,

Going through into your brain,

Into your mind.

Soothing away any tensions,

Any worries,

Any anxieties,

Knowing that this is a healing light for you this morning.

Feeling this light work down the back of your head and over your forehead.

Softening any stresses away.

Knowing that this healing light is for you today to bring you some comfort and love and to feel relaxed.

You deserve this time.

This healing light travels over your face,

Down the back of your head,

Down to your shoulders and to your throat.

Bringing so much love and light and healing,

Healing that you need today.

This travels down your arms and into your elbows and your hands.

And you may feel your hands tingling.

This is perfectly natural.

As this light travels down over your heart chakra,

You can feel your heart chakra start to open.

I invite you to imagine a green beautiful flower with a pink centre starting to open,

The petals are opening.

And as they open you can feel the healing light and the source energy above go into your heart chakra,

Filling you up with love and light and anything else that you need today.

Breathe it in.

I invite you to envision this healing light travelling further down into your solar plexus,

And into your sacral chakra,

Through down to your root chakra and down your legs,

All the way down,

Deep,

Deep down and joining you in Mother Earth,

Sending some of this healing light back to Mother Earth.

So not only are you spending this time,

Taking this time to heal yourself,

You are also healing Mother Earth.

Mother Earth is grateful for your presence.

And as you spend this time deepening into this relaxation,

I envision you,

I welcome you to envision a beautiful white light surrounding your body.

This is your aura,

This is your layer of protection,

This is to continuously give you healing throughout your day.

The healing may look like extra love for you,

Extra support,

Whatever you need today.

I envision this amazing,

Beautiful healing light is for you.

And it's a beautiful protection to keep you safe and to keep you grounded today.

I welcome you to bring your attention back to your heart space,

To your heart chakra.

Feel free to place a hand there if you would like.

We're going to spend the next couple of moments just repeating some affirmations into our heart space.

And as we repeat these words in our mind's eye,

Really feel these words in your body,

Really feel them,

Welcome them.

I invite you to repeat after me.

I am love.

I am joy.

I am one.

I am so worthy of this time.

I am wonderful.

I am amazing.

I am beautiful.

I am strong.

And to say any other words that you need this morning,

I welcome you to say them.

Really feel them in your heart space and know that they're true.

You so deserve all these amazing things.

Now be grateful that you've taken this time out today for you,

That you deserve.

Be grateful that you're in this wonderful,

Wonderful position.

Have a sense of gratitude for all the amazing things that surround you today.

The food in your cupboards.

People and family members that surround you with love.

For the seats that you sit on right now.

Be grateful for this space.

For the air that we breathe,

For the birds in the sky.

So pay attention for the little things around you today.

There are so many wonderful things in our lives that we often don't sit and realise.

I appreciate you for spending this time listening to me and forgiving you the time to be here.

This time is what you deserve.

As this meditation draws to an end,

I would like to say thank you.

Now I'd like you to bring your attention back up to your crown and just slowly envision your petals closing back up.

Just gently and softly thanking the universe for the source of energy and light this morning.

Now bring your attention back down to your roots,

Entwined with Mother Earth and thank her for her presence this morning.

Slowly drawing back up your roots.

Your roots coming back to the soles of your feet.

Back up through your ankles and the backs of your calves,

Through to your thighs and back into your root chakra.

Feeling grateful for this time this morning.

Now I'd like you to bring your attention back to the room,

Paying attention to any noises that you can hear around you.

Can you hear the birds outside?

You may have heard them on this recording.

Starting to bring our attention to our hands and our feet and gently wiggling away.

Bring our focus back into our body.

And having a big stretch.

Raise your arms up and out wide and stretching and being grateful for this moment.

That was so very incredible, one of the best I’ve experienced so far. I loved the visualization particularly about the roots and the petals and even at the end and perhaps most especially at the end where you encouraged us to stretch and I could feel myself reaching for the stars in the sky.
