This is a positive affirmation meditation for test taking.
Let's begin by sitting in a comfortable upright position.
This might be with your legs crossed and your hands on the back of your knees with your palms open to the sky.
Or in another upright position that feels comfortable to you.
Whatever way you choose to sit,
Just make sure that it's in a position where you can relax.
Now gently close your eyes and begin to go inward.
Start to focus on your breath and feel your breath as the air moves in and out of your body.
Just follow it.
We're going to meditate on some affirmations.
I invite you to repeat each affirmation after me,
Either out loud or in your mind.
But don't just listen and repeat.
Actually feel the affirmations as your truth.
If the affirmation doesn't feel true,
Change the wording so it does.
For example,
If I say the affirmation,
I will be successful,
And that doesn't feel true to you,
Change the words.
For example,
I believe I can be successful.
Let's begin.
I am smart.
I have a great memory.
I am focused.
I have learned everything I need to know for this test.
I am prepared.
I am relaxed.
I am confident.
I am calm.
Now think about those affirmations and which one really resonated with you.
Begin to focus on your breath again here as it goes in and out.
And as you do,
Focus on that particular affirmation.
Now I'm going to invite you to let that affirmation go.
Focus on the breath.
Now just notice how you feel.
Notice how you feel mentally.
Notice how you feel physically.
And notice how you feel emotionally.
I want you to take these feelings with you to your test.
When you're ready,
Let your breath go.
And gently open your eyes.
And you're ready to take your test.
