Just take a comfortable position.
You can lay down or you can sit with crossed legs.
Whatever is feeling comfortable for you right now.
Just take your time and start closing your eyes to begin the journey within.
Do also close your mouth.
You're only breathing through your nose.
Using your nostrils to allow your body to filter the incoming air and also to breathe more slowly.
You are becoming entirely still.
The only thing you observe inside you is the air coming in and out of your body.
Observe your breathing.
Notice how the air is coming in and this air is colder than the air coming out.
Do notice also if you are feeling any particular mood right now.
Just as if you were inspecting your emotions from the outside.
Try to breathe as slowly as possible.
Imagine that your breath is like a magical substance bringing light and positivity as it enters your body and bringing out negativity and darkness as it leaves you.
You are going to breathe slow,
Slower and slower.
The breath of your air is becoming slower and slower.
If at any point during this meditation you are troubled by thoughts or physical sensations or sounds this is completely normal.
Once you are noticing those thoughts,
Sounds or physical sensations,
Simply bring your attention back to the air coming in and out through your nostrils,
To the physical sensation of breathing.
Just think about what Einstein once said.
There are only two ways to live your life.
One is although nothing is a miracle.
The other is although everything is a miracle.
It's your choice and the goal of this meditation is to see everything today is a miracle.
The colors our eyes will see,
The sounds our ears are hearing,
The taste of food,
The new and old faces we will encounter.
It's a miracle that our bodies are functioning the way they do.
Despite pain or a certain discomfort you might feel at this moment.
In order to start the day on the right foot we are going to focus on seven affirmations that will help you to have a magical day.
Just listen to my voice and repeat the affirmations mentally in your head.
I make plans but I remain flexible and open to the surprises that life has in store for me.
I try to say yes as often as possible.
I cultivate patience and while doing so I also cultivate self-confidence.
I welcome the opportunity to step outside of my comfort zone and I do not let myself be guided by fear.
I love myself unconditionally because it's essential to my happiness.
I love the person that I am and I do not need other people's approval to love myself fully.
I give everywhere I go even if it's only a smile,
A compliment or my full attention.
Listening is the best gift I can give to those around me.
