Welcome to this heart-opening meditation for the heart chakra,

Your center of unconditional love and connection.

Begin by finding a comfortable position.

Allow your shoulders to relax and your arms to rest naturally.

If it feels right,

Place your hands gently over your heart space,

Right at the center of your chest.

Close your eyes,

Take a deep breath,

And exhale gently out the mouth.

Inhale deeply,

And exhale slowly,

Releasing any heaviness.

With each breath,

Invite softness into your body,

And with every exhale,

Let go of tension.

Bring your awareness to your heart center.

Imagine a warm green light glowing here,

Gentle,

Healing,

Expansive.

With every inhale,

Feel this green light growing brighter,

And with every exhale,

Allow it to expand beyond your chest,

Through your arms,

And your entire body.

Inhale openness,

Exhale release.

Picture this light swirling softly,

Like a vibrant green mist.

Feel its warmth melting away heaviness,

Pain,

Or walls built over time.

You are safe to open your heart.

You are safe to love.

Now imagine yourself standing in a peaceful meadow,

Bathed in golden sunlight.

The sky is clear,

The air is gentle and warm.

Feel the breeze on your skin,

Hear the soft rustle of leaves in the wind.

With every inhale,

The green energy from the earth rises through you.

With every exhale,

Your love radiates outward,

Touching everything without condition.

Notice your breath,

Slow and steady.

Inhale into your chest,

Feel it expand.

Exhale,

Softening your body.

Each breath opens you more.

Each breath brings balance and peace.

Now silently or softly,

Repeat these affirmations with me.

I am open to giving and receiving love.

Love flows to me and through me with ease.

I forgive myself and others fully and completely.

I am worthy of deep,

Unconditional love.

My heart is open,

And I am at peace.

Allow these words to settle deep within you.

Feel them become truth.

Now return back to the green light,

Expanding beyond your body,

Filling the entire room,

The building.

Spreading further to your loved ones,

Your community,

And finally the entire earth.

This is your love,

Infinite,

Boundless,

Powerful.

Rest here in this feeling of connection,

Breathing deeply and slowly.

Feel your heart beating with strength and grace.

Now begin to bring gentle movement back into your body.

Wiggle fingers and toes.

Roll your shoulders softly.

Take one last deep breath in,

Filling your heart with gratitude.

And exhale completely,

Sending love out into the world.

When you're ready,

Slowly open your eyes.

Carry this sense of compassion and peace with you through the rest of your day.
