Welcome to your meditation practice.
My name is Laura.
Thank you for joining me today.
Let's take some time now to find a comfortable seat,
Maybe some support behind your back,
And we'll gently close our eyes.
As your eyes close and you sink into this feeling of being helmed,
Simply notice how wonderful it is to have such a sturdy support beneath you that you can rely on.
In a way,
It's kind of like the earth that is pressing up into you is saying to you,
I got you.
It's like that support is saying to you,
No matter what you do,
No matter how you walk this earth,
I got you.
I support you.
And as you follow your heart,
And as you keep your head and your mind and your imagination in the stars,
You can rely on me to give you the grounding you need,
To give you the surface that you walk on,
To give you the surface that you rest on,
To give you the surface that you can trust,
That you can surrender to.
And as you go out and you act and you create and you dance and you do outwardly expressions of your energy and your light,
It will be me that supports you through it,
That gives you the surface and the grounding in which for you to express your individuality and your light in this world.
And if you get overwhelmed and it gets to be a lot,
And everything you put out there starts to feel like it's taking a toll and you need to come back in,
I will be there for you.
I will be there for you to fall down on,
To rest on.
I will be there for you to crash,
To snuggle into.
I will be there for you as you let go.
I will make sure that you are reminded that you're held and you're nurtured no matter what.
This is my promise to you.
You are always safe.
You are always held.
I am always here.
And as you hear those words from the earth,
Hear those words of the strength you can rely on.
Allow yourself to deeply connect with the feeling of that now.
Allow yourself to deeply connect with every part of your body which rests on that support beneath you.
Give yourself permission to receive.
Give yourself permission to lean in.
Give yourself permission to let go of any worries as everything is perfectly good right now.
Thank you earth for holding me.
Thank you for holding me up no matter how I need to express myself today.
Allow yourself to release any squeezing of muscles.
All effort right now is unnecessary.
Notice a sinking into the earth,
A feeling of coming home.
Connecting with the truth inside of you that knows you are enough.
What you have is enough.
Feel the shoulders relax even more.
Notice yourself drifting into a state where time and space seem to lose importance.
Watch the simple wave of breath through your body.
Watch where the breath travels to and without any effort,
Simply receive the breath as well.
We're going to begin to count.
Count our breathing on your own.
Count to five as you slowly breathe in through the nose.
Count to five as you softly sigh out the mouth.
Count to five as you slowly breathe in through the mouth.
One more breath.
