Welcome to this embodied chakra meditation.
We're going to go through the chakras from the base of the spine to the crown and feel into the energy of the physical body and see how subtle we can get there.
Come to a comfortable seat.
You can sit on a chair,
Sit on a cushion.
And take a deep breath in,
Side out.
You need to wiggle,
Wiggle,
Get any movement out.
And then come to stillness.
You can place the palms wherever it feels natural,
Either face up or down or hands in the lap.
We'll set an intention here to just feel into different parts of the body,
The energy of the body.
We'll feel the energy of each chakra.
We'll listen to the note of each chakra.
And I'll guide you through the journey.
Just bringing your awareness to each place.
And we'll start with the root chakra.
Notice where the sit bones are in contact with the floor or the chair.
Feel the energy of the feet,
Soles of the feet,
Ankles,
Calves,
The shoulders,
The knees,
The hips.
Soles of the feet,
Ankles,
Calves,
Knees,
Thighs,
Legs.
They're all part of your foundation.
Coming back again to that sensation of the sit bones feeling strong and stable and supported by the earth.
Now bring your awareness right below the belly button to the area of the second chakra associated with our reproductive organs.
Begin to feel into that low part of the belly and feel the energy of water,
Of movement,
Of change and flow.
Almost as if you can feel all of the flow inside the body,
The fluids,
Liquids,
Blood moving around.
And coming up the spine to the third chakra,
The solar plexus,
The navel center,
Feel your spine long as you sit tall,
Feeling confident.
Feel the energy of the muscles around the navel,
The abs,
The front of the abs,
The back of the core.
And then the lower part of the navel,
The strong part of your body that keeps you stabilized in your movements,
Keeps you purposeful.
And bring your awareness now to the heart center,
The fourth chakra.
Feel the chest expanding on your inhales.
Feel the air in the lungs.
Feel the whole exchange of breath,
The rib cage,
The heart beating.
And feel the energy around the heart,
The area of love and self-compassion,
Forgiveness,
Acceptance,
Bridging the lower chakras to the higher chakras.
And take your awareness now,
Move it up to the throat,
The fifth chakra.
The fifth chakra.
Notice the energy at the throat center.
If it feels flowing or blocked,
Are you able to say what you want to say without any fear,
Your truest expression coming from your voice,
Your mouth,
And also bringing attention to the ears that take in the sound and the communication,
Receive the messages.
Now bring your awareness between your eyebrows and slightly up to the third eye,
As if there is an eye right there and it's open and it can see everything else,
Even if the other two eyes are closed.
The vision is not just of the 3D world,
But you feel the energy,
The knowing,
That intuition that links to the gut.
And from the third eye,
Going back into the center of the soul,
The center of the skull,
The center of the brain,
Bring your awareness to the pineal gland,
The pituitary gland.
See if you can tap into the feeling of the hormones and the secretions of these glands in the brain,
Noticing the energy in the center of the head,
As well as at the third eye point.
Now we're moving up to right above the crown,
The crown chakra.
You feel like a waterfall of energy flowing around the body.
So the crown chakra is just above the head,
Noticing any sensations in that area,
Bringing your awareness there.
Feel that connection to yourself,
To everyone,
And to all of the other chakras and energetic centers in the body.
So you feel the energy in the body,
The sense of the energy in the body,
The sense of the energy in the body,
The sense of the energy in the body.
And then you feel the energy in the body,
So you feel the crown,
The third eye,
The throat,
The heart,
The solar plexus,
The sacrum,
The sacral chakra,
And the root,
All connected,
Energy flowing up and down and around in a spiral.
