Visualize yourself alone on a beautiful island.
Feel the sounds of the water representing your individual and unique process.
Hear and feel how beautiful your process is.
Enjoy the sounds of the birds representing the sweet song of your healing and growth.
The sight and sounds of the birds being your own self-compassion.
Begin to notice your breath.
Begin taking deep inhalations in and sighing those deep breaths out.
How does the sun feel on your body?
As you breathe in,
Bring your pelvis inward so your spine is straight.
As you breathe out,
Imagine your sit bones leaking into the sand beneath and supporting you.
How does it feel on your skin?
Continue to breathe into this new and temporary bliss.
Place one hand on your heart and one on your stomach.
Take a couple deep breaths in and breathe out through your nose.
Return to your natural breath.
Do not try to control your breath now.
Just let it be what it is.
If you need to recenter yourself,
Just take those deep inhalations and exhalations and return to your natural state of breathing.
Notice and acknowledge the disappointment you have with yourself.
How do you feel?
Where do you notice it in your body?
Breathe into those places.

The anger,
The hurt.
Imagine the tears of sadness,
