Settle into a comfortable position Preparing the body and mind for some stillness for a few moments.

Give yourself a deep breath in And as you breathe out let that be like a softening everywhere Releasing Do a couple more like that Breathing all the way into your brim Breathing out softening melting tension throughout your body and mind Even the mind can release its mental grip a little bit We're going to do a guided body awareness to settle the body and relieve stress and tension Now let your breathing go back to a rhythm that feels just right for you at this moment Become aware of the Forehead soften your brow let it unfurl your eyelids And let your breathing go back to a rhythm that feels just right for you at this moment Become aware of your forehead Soften your brow let it unfurl Your eyelids And even your eyeballs inside your eye sockets can soften Your nose Lips and mouth jaw upper teeth lower teeth Roof of your mouth Inner ears Inner ears Become aware of the whole front of your head and the back of your head and soften Outside and inside Become aware of your neck and throat Soften through the front of your throat and the back Where the base of your skull meets your neck soften front and back Outside and inside Become aware of your shoulders where your neck meets your shoulders and soften Front and back of your shoulders shoulder blades Outside and inside Become aware of your upper arms both arms Elbows Forearms wrists Both hands All ten fingers at once Both hands all ten fingers at once Where your fingers meet your hands soften Soften your fingers both hands both arms The length of both arms front and back outside and inside Your chest Lungs upper back Belly diaphragm and organs Lower back Your whole torso soften front and back Outside and inside Become aware of your hips pelvis Upper legs Knees Lower legs,
