For the word of the Lord is right and true.
He is faithful in all he does.
The Lord loves righteousness and justice.
The earth is full of his unfailing love.
By the word of the Lord,
The heavens were made,
Their starry hosts by the breath of his mouth.
He gathers the waters of the sea into jars.
He puts the deep into storehouses.
Let all the earth fear the Lord.
Let all the people of the world revere him.
For he spoke and it came to be.
He commanded and it stood firm.
The plans of the Lord stand firm forever.
The purposes of his heart through all generations.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.
The people he chose for his inheritance.
From heaven,
The Lord looks down and sees all mankind.
From his dwelling place,
He watches all who live on earth.
He who forms the hearts of all,
Who considers everything they do.
No king is saved by the size of his army.
No warrior escapes by his great strength.
But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him.
On those whose hope is in his unfailing love.
To deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine.
We wait in hope for the Lord.
He is our help and our shield.
In him our hearts rejoice.
For we trust in his holy name.
May your unfailing love be with us Lord.
Even as we put our hope in you.
I will extol the Lord at all times.
His praise will always be on my lips.
I will glory in the Lord.
Let the afflicted hear and rejoice.
I sought the Lord and he answered me.
He delivered me from all my fears.
Those who look to him are radiant.
Their faces are never covered with shame.
The poor man called and the Lord heard him.
He saved him out of all of his troubles.
The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him and he delivers them.
Trust and see that the Lord is good.
Blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
The lions may grow weak and hungry.
But those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.
Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days.
Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies.
Turn from evil and do good.
Seek peace and pursue it.
The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry.
But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.
The righteous cry out and the Lord hears them.
He delivers them from all of their troubles.
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
The righteous person may have many troubles but the Lord delivers him from them all.
He protects all of them.
Not one will be broken.
Evil will slay the wicked.
The foes of the righteous will be condemned.
But the Lord will rescue his servants.
And no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.
The refuge that we have in our creator is magnificent.
He is close to the brokenhearted.
This gives immense hope as sometimes when we are experiencing the greatest sorrow,
We will feel his presence that much more.
His character is by nature unfailing and steadfast.
No matter what rages on around us,
He is good all of the time.
