Hello and welcome to the Spirit Rooms podcast,

In the Flow with Lori Albert,

Where we talk about spirituality,

Manifestation,

And how to create and live our best lives.

Today is part four on our series of manifestation.

Are you ready?

Let's go.

Hello again.

I am so excited to be able to share all of this information with you guys.

I hope it's been helping you and we're only in the middle part of it here.

There's so much more to talk about,

You know?

And honestly,

I love hearing all of your challenges,

Your successes.

Feel free to message me them all.

I would love to hear from you.

As I've said before,

Manifesting can kind of be a simple process,

But actually quite daunting,

You know?

Because there is a lot to it.

There is sort of a science behind it,

You know?

So far in this series on manifesting,

We've talked about many aspects to it,

Like the idea that you truly need to decide if this is what you want to take on.

Okay?

Because it is a decision,

Let's face it,

Right?

So we then discuss the law of attraction and how like attracts like.

In our last session,

We discussed how monitoring our thoughts and thought processes is vital to understanding that shifting our thoughts is the most important thing we can do to manifest our truest and deepest desires.

I swear to God,

That gives me chills whenever I talk about that.

All right,

So let's get into where we left off.

Okay.

How did your monitoring of your thoughts go for you?

Did you have any insights?

What have you gained from paying attention to all the judgy self-criticism of your own thoughts?

So I want you to know I have been there.

And I've done this exercise and honestly,

It can be difficult to admit all of the things that you felt while you were monitoring your thoughts.

But today we are going to talk about the many ways to begin to actually shift those thoughts to ones of high vibration.

Okay?

So it's going to get a little easier.

Now staying in a high vibration is important in the process of manifesting,

Which is why we need to transform the negative thoughts.

We have about,

You know,

Pretty much everything or anything I should say,

To ones of positivity.

So what we need to do is this.

We need to catch ourselves in those times of judging negative thoughts and shift them.

Now it's going to take a while to learn how to do this.

Okay.

But after a while it will become easier and easier.

Okay.

We need to stop these thoughts in their tracks and replace the negative ones with something happy,

Upbeat,

And positive.

Okay.

So here is a great example.

This is,

This works for me.

Okay.

You may be driving down the road and someone cuts you off.

Oh gosh,

Seriously.

You know,

I can't imagine anybody that has not experienced that.

Right?

Now,

If you're like me,

My first reaction is pretty much always one of,

Hey,

How dare you?

And then that usually will lead to,

For me,

A question in my head about why people suck and why is everybody so rude?

Right now to shift that fast.

Okay.

And again,

This takes practice.

Okay.

Now don't forget also too,

I've been doing this for quite a while,

So I'm just what I'm about to say might not work for you right at the beginning,

But you keep trying.

Okay.

I catch myself at,

Hey,

I count to three and then shift the ongoing thoughts to ones of compassion.

Okay.

So this works for me.

Okay.

I pretend and imagine that the person that cut me off has to get to their wife or their sister or somebody that is having a baby in the hospital.

And honestly,

That shifts the entire thing for me every single time.

Now,

It might be something completely different that sort of jolts you away from the feeling of negativity.

Okay.

But trying different things can help.

Okay.

So give yourself a little bit of slack and just figure out what,

What works for you individually.

Okay.

Now that leads me into the tools to help us jump away from the negative judgy thoughts and keep our vibration in the higher place.

Okay.

So now here we go.

Number one,

Affirmations,

Of course,

Seriously,

Affirmations are so,

So helpful in shifting your thoughts.

My advice about using affirmations is this,

Find one phrase or even a word that hits you in your heart and makes you feel peaceful,

Happy,

Or whatever it is every time you say it to yourself.

That would be your main affirmation.

For me,

To be quite honest with you,

Mine is courageous.

Now interestingly,

It's not courage.

It's courageous.

Don't ask me why,

But the word courageous,

Whenever I say it,

It strikes me in my heart.

Okay.

So that would be my main one.

Okay.

Now on a daily basis,

You can also,

You can find others sayings or phrases or whatever can really help you shift your thoughts away from anything negative.

Okay.

I hope that makes sense.

Now,

Just so you know that in my upcoming manifestation course in August,

I'm going to be getting way deeper about this,

But in the interest of time for today,

We're just kind of covering the basics for this.

Okay.

All right.

Now,

Number two,

Big thing,

Gratitude.

Oh,

Right.

Right.

I am like the queen of gratitude.

I love,

Love talking about it and,

And you know,

Reminding myself of it,

Reminding you of it,

Everything,

Right.

Having a gratitude practice is like,

It's super important.

In a minute,

I will be talking about journaling,

But I want to go back to in your journal,

Creating a daily routine of listing the five things that you are grateful for.

It's essential.

It's literally essential in staying in a high vibrational place.

When we are grateful for all the things in our lives,

The awesome things and the challenges,

And yes,

Sometimes it's hard to be grateful for the challenges.

I get that.

It creates a kind of joyfulness within,

Within ourselves that helps us stay in the present moment.

Okay.

Present moment,

Another big,

Big place to be.

Okay.

And in the interest of time,

I'm going to move on,

But the present moment,

Okay.

Gratitude is so good at helping you stay in the present moment.

Okay.

All right.

Number one is meditation.

Obviously,

Being a meditation teacher,

I understand the power of meditation,

But I really want to explain how it can truly change your life.

I started meditating about,

I'm thinking like 25 years ago.

And at that time I was super,

Super stressed.

I had a new baby,

Financial issues and challenges and all sorts of stuff happening.

Okay.

Honestly,

I don't even remember how I actually got into meditation,

But I do remember this.

After about four months,

My stress level really came down to a point of me being able to maybe not react quite as quickly to situations.

And then there was like this calm that happened that I know was from meditation.

My husband even noticed.

The anxiety level had shifted.

But here's the thing,

Let me just say,

Regardless of how long you meditate,

How you meditate or whatever else,

Just the act,

Especially at the beginning,

The act of sitting in the stillness for even a short period of time can raise your vibration and keep you in a more stable place,

Which is the present moment.

Right?

Okay.

Now you see where I'm going with all of this,

Right?

Okay.

Next.

Next.

I have a couple of things that is my,

One of my favorite things to do is journaling in terms of shifting my thoughts.

Okay.

Now,

Obviously too,

I've written a book on manifesting on a manifestation journal,

So that it's basically the course,

But I want to explain how journaling in earnest can really help you in changing your thoughts and create a new way,

A more magnificent way of thinking about the things that happen in your life.

Okay.

When you write out in your journal,

Your thoughts and your thought patterns and how you manage them and shifted them into the higher vibrational ones or how you didn't shift them and maybe could have in hindsight shifted them.

It's this is the key point.

It's written there for you to read back to yourself,

To refer back.

Absolutely so super important.

The challenges and the triumphs in your journal.

This is gold.

Gold.

So if you choose one tool to help you on this manifestation journal,

Journey should say,

This would be one of the more important ones for all those reasons I just said,

Right?

For those that have never tried journaling or feel like they don't have the time,

Try it anyway.

I beg you to try it anyway.

Okay.

If you really,

Really,

Really want to manifest your life in a positive,

Happy way,

You need to make changes.

This is it.

This is one of them.

Okay.

Next.

Next,

We're going to talk about vision board.

Oh,

And this is so much fun.

This is what I'm saying.

This is the fun part of the whole thing,

Right?

You take what you do when you create a vision board,

Which most of you probably already know that you take magazines,

Like a ton of them,

Tons and different types,

Not all yoga magazines or not,

You know,

Not all the health and fitness,

You know,

Take a vogue or take a,

Take a,

I don't know,

A gardening one or something,

You know,

I don't know.

You take all these magazines and you cut out the pictures and the words that you want to manifest.

You put it on a board.

Okay.

You paste it on a board and then you display the board in a place where you see it all the time.

Okay.

I hope that makes sense because all of the fun things that you can do,

They're just right there in front of your face.

Okay.

All right.

So now maybe you are noticing a theme for everything that I've mentioned here.

Okay.

This is keeping the good thoughts in the present moment and feeling good now.

Okay.

Esther Hicks and Abraham,

They're like everything in the law of attraction and manifesting,

Right?

They talk so much about feeling good,

Just feeling good.

Do what makes you feel good.

What,

Whatever it is.

Okay.

Now that was quite a bit of information.

I know.

And I hope you were able to digest it in this really short period of time.

Again,

I will be going into way more detail at other in other situations.

Okay.

Going to get into the art of allowing ourselves to accept these amazing fun,

New things that we're manifesting into our lives.

Yep.

Another interesting aspect to manifesting that you may not have considered.

You have to allow and accept what you're manifesting.

Yeah,

It's going to be really interesting.
