Manifestation: From The Beginning!

Welcome to my series on manifesting your life! Over the next several sessions, we will start at the beginning of manifestation, what it is, how it began and will include everything you need to know. Welcome to the Spirit Rooms podcast, In the Flow with Lori Albert, Where we discuss tapping into our spiritual gifts, Meditation, And basically all aspects of spirituality. Welcome in. I am so, So excited because today is the first day of the manifestation series on this podcast, In the Flow with Lori Albert. Yay! Oh my God. I have to say though, I feel like as much as I'm doing this podcast on manifesting for you all, I'm actually doing it for me as well. You know, Seriously though, Even the most skilled manifestors need a refresher sometimes. Seriously. It's so smart to always keep all of this information that we're going to talk about over this series of podcasts. It's so smart to keep this information close at hand so that when you are feeling down or maybe it's not working quite right for you, You can refer back and get yourself back to that awesomely uplifting headspace. Yeah, It's true. So okay, Over this series of episodes, I will be diving in to the hows and whys and tools of really being successful at manifestation. It's so interesting because it's truly a simplistic process, Yet it takes time to really learn to get real with yourself and your thought patterns. But I say all that, We'll be getting into that. Okay. So, Okay, Let's jump in. Here's my first question for you. What is it that you truly, Really deeply want in your life? Do you even really know? There are so many of us that don't even know. And I think it's interesting because when you think of the idea of manifesting, It sounds so exciting and you think, Heck, I've got this. I can totally manifest anything I want. But then when it comes right down to it, Actually deciding what it is that you really, Really do want out of your life, It can be a little bit more daunting and it can bring up emotions that you never even considered before. And that's why we need to get into all of this. Here's where I'm going to get tough with you though. I know that sounds so dramatic, Doesn't it? Seriously, I want to get just a little bit in your face about this. When you think about everything you really want in your life, Have you considered that you really want to actually do the work? Are you ready to do the work? Or are you thinking to yourself, Oh, Sure, Yeah, I'll try it for a little while and we'll see how it happens and yeah, We'll see how it goes. This is where I need to get real with you. Manifesting isn't just thinking happy thoughts and then you magically get what you want. Yes, I know that you have probably heard people say this all over the place, That it's possible to just say to yourself, I'm going to have $2 million by 3 p. M. Today. But the reality is, Does that really even happen? Have you ever heard of anybody manifesting something that huge that quickly? There is work involved. There is work involved. This is a journey, Not just a quick trip to the store. I got to say, It honestly really bugs me to see stuff unlike Instagram. You see these posts where they're like, Hey, If you like this post, You'll have a million dollars by tomorrow. People believe that. I think that that's irresponsible personally, But that's another whole conversation, I think. Honestly, Because it makes me sad because once it doesn't actually work for people, Once it doesn't, All of this stuff doesn't come to fruition, People then give up on the whole idea of manifesting it all. But that's not us today. We're going to do this thing. So then my next question then becomes, Do you really want to change your life and attract those amazing things that you really, Really want in your life? Yeah, That's a great question. It takes work. Not really hard work per se, But it does take work nonetheless. Learning to truly manifest is a commitment. Right? It is. Now, Let me say this to you though. You are worth it. It's a commitment to yourself. And if you decide to put your mind to it, You can create anything you want. And that does sound kind of pie in the sky, Doesn't it? But you have to be willing to put in a little bit of the work now. Right? All right. So I got to say though, When I was first learning about manifestation and what I needed to do, I remember questioning myself and it felt pretty in my face. But guess what? That in your face stuff is the stuff that you need to do for yourself to create a fulfilled life, To create a satisfaction in your life. And I'm here to say that you can do this. You can focus on yourself and your wants and your needs. You're allowed to do that. Imagine that. You're allowed to focus on yourself. There. Did I just jolt you into a place where you're beginning to think that maybe you actually can manifest your greatest desires? I hope I did a little bit. I hope so. This is a conscious decision that you have to make for yourself. It's true. Yes, I know. I'm kind of making it sound a bit, Let's just say serious and dramatic, But guess what? Do you want the life that you've dreamt of or are you satisfied with being where you are? And you know what? There's no wrong answer there. There is no wrong answer there. If you're listening to me talk and you're actually thinking to yourself, You know what? I actually am pretty satisfied. That's amazing. That is fantastic. But if you want other things in your life, If you want these dreams that you've dreamt about your whole life to happen, That's great too. And we can do that. So with all of these questions that I just asked you, I may be sort of turning you off to the work of manifesting, But honestly, Once you actually make the decision to take this journey and make that commitment to yourself, You will see things happen in your life and you will be extraordinarily amazed. Amazed. And I can say that with absolute certainty because it happened just like that for me. And honestly, I am so, So happy to share all this with you. Obviously. I love to, I could talk about this all day, Clearly. Manifesting can be actually so much fun. It's an art form in a sense. It really is. And you will learn that. Okay. But I will say, Like I said before, It's work. It's insightful and sometimes it's emotional. But there's a little bit of work there. So let me just say, I'm doing this series as kind of a prelude to my manifestation course that I'm doing online in August. All of those details will be posted on my website the first week of July. And I want you to sit quietly and begin to think what it is that you truly want for yourself and your life. What do you truly want? Remember that it could be anything that your heart desires deep, Deep down. It could be a thriving love life or a new car, Or you could set your sights on feeling completely fulfilled in your career. And simply creating actual happiness for yourself and satisfaction and fulfillment. It could be any of those and all of those. So what is it that you deep down genuinely crave? Let's just sit in the stillness for a few minutes with your eyes closed and allow yourself to dream. Dream big. Dream outside your comfort zone. And now, I want you to allow yourself to feel all the incredible feelings that you have that come with your desires. If you had the new car, How would that make you feel? If you wanted satisfaction out of your life, What does that actually feel like to you? Okay, You can start to bring yourself back to the present moment. I hope that you feel invigorated just by those few short moments. I hope you feel maybe a slight sense of freedom around everything that you just were thinking about. That is what we will be striving for in these next sessions. So join me, I hope you will, For these next sessions.
