Namaste,
Good morning.
How is everybody today?
I hope everybody is having a wonderful morning so far,
Having your coffee or tea.
Beautiful.
So,
I had a little thing this weekend,
Not a big deal,
But I always try to find the lesson in everything.
You guys know me by now,
Right?
I was at a store with my daughter and we were only allowed to have one person.
Oh,
That's too much information.
Whatever.
So,
The bottom line is that I was at a store with my daughter and I started to have a hot flash and I know we're approaching the TMI version of my life,
Right?
But that's significant to the story.
And the two people,
The person at the store that was helping us was like,
Oh my God,
Do you need anything?
I'm like,
No,
Go away.
But just if my face turns color,
That's why,
Blah,
Blah,
Blah,
Right?
So my daughter leaves the store,
Runs out and go get a glass of water and comes back.
And I was like,
Oh my God,
That's so amazing.
You're so sweet.
I appreciate that.
And the guy that was helping us said,
You know,
That's how,
Oh my God,
I'm getting emotional.
That's how kindness should be.
Just do it without even asking.
Because when you ask,
People are going to be like,
Oh,
No,
It's okay.
You know?
And I'm just like,
Yeah,
Exactly.
You know?
Just do it.
Just be the kindness.
And I was like,
Oh my God,
That is so beautiful.
You know?
And I'm so blessed with my daughter who just did it.
She just went out.
I didn't need it,
But I really did appreciate it.
You know?
And then this guy was like,
He found the jewel in the whole story or the whole situation,
Right?
I love that.
So amazing,
Right?
So that's what I wanted to talk about today.
Little acts of kindness.
And I know we talk about this periodically,
But you know,
Considering that the energy this weekend was just bizarre a little bit,
I don't know.
That's what I thought.
The energy recently has been a little bit tentative.
Let's just say,
I think that's the best word.
Oh my God.
The best word tentative,
Right?
You know,
Lao Tzu,
The founder of Taoism,
He has this saying about kindness that just rocks my world,
Right?
He said,
Kindness in words creates confidence.
Kindness in thinking creates profoundness.
And kindness in giving creates love.
So we're going to do two of those at least today.
At least,
Right?
So we are going to meditate on kindness.
So that's profoundness.
That's profoundness because that's kindness in thinking.
And our challenge,
We're going to create a challenge for ourselves.
For the next five days,
We are going to do at least one act of kindness for somebody.
Now that can be anything.
It doesn't have to be like a big grand gesture of a car or whatever,
Right?
Let's just do one kind thing.
It might be a smile because a smile can change everything for somebody.
And unfortunately,
In the age of masks,
We can't exactly see people smiling,
But you know,
You can tell when somebody's smiling because you know the thing I've learned lately is that you can tell when somebody's smiling by their eyes.
Have you guys noticed that?
By their eyes.
So I challenge you for the next five days,
One act of kindness for somebody.
Okay so let's get ourselves comfortable because we're going to meditate.
Okay so let's get ourselves comfortable and close our eyes whenever you feel comfortable.
Let's take a nice beautiful,
Beautiful deep breath in.
Breathe in really slow through your nose.
And out.
Getting go of all that negative energy,
Stagnant energy that maybe has been building up in your brain,
In your body.
Let's do that again.
Breathe in really,
Really slow and deep.
Awesome.
That's fantastic.
So as we get ourselves prepared to sit with our mantra today,
Let's just consider a few things that we are grateful for.
What are a few things that happened to you in the last few days where you are just absolutely grateful for?
I am grateful for the act of kindness of my daughter and that young man that pointed it out.
Well not that I didn't know but you know this young man pointed out the significance of just giving.
Just give.
Don't ask.
Just give.
I am grateful for who I am.
There have been a few situations lately where I've been a little unsure of myself but you know I am very thankful for my relationship with spirit and how I follow a spirit led life.
What about you?
So our mantra for today,
Today I send kindness to the world.
That is our kindness and thinking creating profoundness.
There's such a profoundness in thinking kind thoughts.
So our mantra for today is today I send kindness to the world.
Try sitting as we are sitting in our quietness.
Try smiling through the meditation.
Beautiful.
If you find your mind drifting that's absolutely okay of course.
Just bring yourself back to kindness and smiling.
I will keep the time and let's begin.
Today I send kindness to the world.
Today I send kindness to the world.
Today I send kindness to the world.
I will keep the time and let's begin.
I will keep the time and let's begin.
I will keep the time and let's begin.
I will keep the time and let's begin.
I will keep the time and let's begin.
I will keep the time and let's begin.
I will keep the time and let's begin.
I will keep the time and let's begin.
I will keep the time and let's begin.
I will keep the time and let's begin.
I will keep the time and let's begin.
I will keep the time and let's begin.
Today I send kindness to the world.
Today I send kindness to the world.
Today I send kindness to the world.
Start bringing our awareness back to our bodies in the chair we're sitting in,
In the room we're in.
Let's take a nice deep breath.
And release.
And when you feel comfortable you can open your eyes.
Did you all feel that amazing energy as you were meditating?
Oh my gosh.
I got myself so worked up I was near tears.
You know kindness does create thoughts of profoundness.
Wow that was absolutely beautiful.
Absolutely beautiful kindness.
Let's be kindness today my friends.
Be that.
Gosh that was absolutely beautiful.
Thank you so much for joining you guys.
Go out in the world.
Take the challenge.
Do something.
One thing kind for somebody even if it's just a smile or a wave.
Because that's how we can change the world.
We can change the world by one small act of kindness.
Awesome that is so beautiful.
Yay.
Okay so thank you for joining.
I appreciate you all.
Thank you so much.
Enjoy the rest of your day.
Stay out of trouble.
Stay in kindness.
I love you all.
Namaste everybody.
I love you all.
Thank you so much.
