Hi and welcome to In the Flow with Lorie Albert,
A podcast designed to teach us to manifest our best lives in every moment and every day.
Let's get in the flow.
Today we are going to meditate to allow us to tap into the extraordinary power of Spirit.
Okay?
That Spirit is Mother Earth and Father Sky.
That energy is so,
This energy is so beautiful.
You know,
It feels like I have,
I almost feel like I'm sad,
But you know there's a fine line between relaxed and sad.
Do you know what I'm saying?
It's like,
It's like this whole balance,
Right?
So now is a hugely,
God,
That's not a word,
But now is a great time,
Let's say it this way,
To truly tap into this energy because it is a time of awakening and allowing ourselves to feel and kind of utilize this incredible powerful energy.
Yeah.
Now is the time to recognize,
You guys,
Now is the time to recognize our true power,
A super power that we all have.
It's love,
Love.
Keeping love in our hearts is truly the best thing that we can do spiritually,
Physically,
All of that kind of stuff,
Right?
When you come from a place of love in anything that you do,
It's received with love,
Whether the person that you're sending it to gets it or not.
I think,
You know,
There are those in our lives that just don't quite get it,
You know,
So maybe they don't realize that you're sending them love,
But when we individually do everything from a place of love,
Love eclipses fear and hate,
All of that,
And any other negativity that comes our way.
Love can conquer all.
Oh my gosh,
So true.
So we are gonna,
I'm gonna lead this meditation today and I hope you enjoy it.
So let's get ourselves comfortable.
Let's meditate on this.
I hope that you guys feel it as deeply as I do.
So let's get ourselves comfy,
Right?
Whatever that looks like for you,
You know,
And I know I say this all the time,
But if you're comfortable,
You're going to want to meditate again.
We just move forward.
We just move forward and we just keep our,
Just keep everything in flow,
Right?
Okay,
So let's get ourselves comfy and sit still.
Close your eyes whenever it feels right for you.
And let's take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in,
Allowing ourselves to just be in the moment.
So let's breathe in.
And out.
If you feel so inspired,
You can place your hands over your heart for that extra understanding,
That extra understanding of love.
Feel your heart beating and the love radiating through you.
Maharaji said very famously,
Clean the mirror of your heart and you will see God.
The mirror of your heart.
Clean that.
He also said,
Love is the strongest medicine.
It is more powerful than electricity.
So let's feel this love throughout every cell of our bodies and souls,
Knowing that this is our absolute calling to be the love that the world needs right now.
I'd like for you to think about right now,
Someone that you have a grudge against.
Maybe they hurt you in some way or cheated you.
Someone that you have a grudge against.
And now feel the love in your heart.
And send that person love.
Now I'd like for you to think about someone that you may have hurt.
It may be something small or large,
But someone that you know you hurt.
Feel the love in your heart.
And send that person love.
Now let's think a little bit bigger picture.
Globally,
Who is someone or something that you have bad feelings for?
For whatever reason,
Could be someone political or someone entertainment or someone religious.
Someone that you have less than happy feelings towards.
Feel the love in your heart.
And send that person or thing love.
There's an old Cherokee story called the Tale of Two Wolves.
One evening,
An old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.
He said,
My son,
The battle is between two wolves inside us all.
One is evil.
It is anger,
Envy,
Jealousy,
Sorrow,
Regret,
Greed,
Arrogance,
Self-pity,
Guilt,
Resentment,
Inferiority,
Superiority,
And ego.
The other is good.
It is joy,
Peace,
Love,
Humility,
Benevolence,
Empathy,
Truth,
Compassion,
And faith.
The grandson thought about this for a minute and then asked his grandfather,
Which wolf wins?
The old Cherokee simply replied,
The one you feed.
As we sit in stillness for just a moment,
Let's consider the love that we have in our hearts and say the following mantra.
Aham Prema,
Aham Prema,
And this means I am divine love.
Aham Prema.
Aham Prema.
Aham Prema.
Aham Prema.
Aham Prema.
Aham Prema.
Let's start bringing our awareness back to the chair we're sitting in.
Seeing the love emanating from our bodies and as we go throughout our day,
Sharing this love with the world.
Aham Prema.
Namaste.
