And good morning everybody.

It's time to meditate.

Yeah,

I could just.

.

.

I feel like today is one of those days where I could actually.

.

.

I could actually just fall right into meditation.

There are days when you have that and days when you just.

.

.

It's just not gonna happen.

Today's one of those days I could just blink and fall into meditation.

So okay,

So today is Friday the 5th,

Right?

And at about noon or 12 12 today is the full moon,

Right?

Around this.

.

.

The same.

.

.

At almost the same time at 11 a.

M.

Today.

.

.

This is Los Angeles time.

.

.

There is a lunar eclipse that we are not gonna see here but we're gonna feel the energy.

We are going to feel that energy.

So just again,

Patience,

Positivity,

Persistence.

Just keep yourself understanding,

You know,

Because if you're aware of something,

If you're aware that it's happening,

Then you can be prepared,

Right?

So you know it's interesting because in when you have a full moon or a new moon or an eclipse or whatever,

Right?

Everybody always talks about beginning something new or beginning.

.

.

Be fresh,

A fresh start,

You know,

All of that kind of stuff.

And my thought about that is this,

You know,

And I was really thoughtful about that because of the the protests that are happening right now.

And it's just so fascinating to me because it is a fresh start.

It's a new beginning.

It's a new day,

You know,

For lack of a better way to describe it,

Right?

These protesters,

The Black Lives Movement,

Black Lives Matter movement,

Is taking the bull by the horns and starting fresh and doing it new,

Right?

I love that.

I think that is so admirable and so just it's what they need,

Right?

It's what individuals need,

It's what the community needs,

All of that,

Right?

But in terms of being on a personal level,

They always talk about,

You know,

Like I said,

New beginning and a fresh start and when's the best day?

Is it Monday?

Is it Friday?

Is it a new moon,

Full moon,

Whatever,

Right?

But you know what?

I think that in terms of taking the bull by the horns and starting something fresh,

It's really any time that you choose,

That you particularly,

Particularly choose.

And sometimes we,

You know,

Like when to start a cleanse,

Right?

When should we start the cleanse?

Should we start on Friday?

Should we start?

It's whatever day you choose.

You don't have to wait.

Why are we waiting?

Is it a lack of self esteem?

A lack of,

You know,

A lack of believing in ourselves?

We need to believe in ourselves and start things fresh.

That's when you believe in yourself,

You know that you can start something new.

When you're having a good day emotionally,

It's all in our mindset,

All in our mindset.

We are the change in our lives.

We are the change.

We can be the change.

So important,

So important.

And what's interesting is that the mantra that sort of,

I think,

Kind of goes along with this for today for our meditation is aham brahmāsmi.

And we've talked about aham brahmāsmi before,

But I want to talk about it in terms of this.

In terms of starting fresh and a new beginning,

Right?

Aham brahmāsmi means I am,

This is the literal translation,

Is I am the absolute.

What that means is it's about the unity between yourself and God.

It's about the unity of that.

So when you say aham brahmāsmi,

You're invoking your unity with your God.

Whatever God,

Universe,

Spirit you believe in,

You're sort of invoking that.

So when we say aham brahmāsmi,

We are working at being one with God.

Isn't that awesome?

I love that.

I love that feeling and that idea and that way to be close with God.

Right?

So let's get ourselves comfortable.

I feel like a broken record.

It's a fresh start.

So allow your eyes to gently go closed.

And let's begin with relaxing our bodies from the top of our head down to our neck and our shoulders,

Our chest and our arms.

Put a little bit of attention on each part of your body and just gently relax it.

The torso,

The abdomen,

Our hips,

Our thighs,

Our calves and our feet.

And just relax.

Now let's take a nice long,

Slow,

Deep breath in through our nose and then hold it and then breathe out through your mouth.

So breathe in and hold it and breathe out.

Let's do that again even longer,

An even longer inhale.

So let's breathe in really slow,

Breathing oxygen into our lungs and every cell in our body.

Hold it and breathe out.

Perfect.

As we get ready to sit in the silence and stillness,

Let's yet again begin our day thinking of those three things that we are grateful for.

Three things,

Three things that just are perfect in your world.

What are three things that make you feel happy about your life?

Perfect.

Now as we begin to get ready to sit in silence and stillness,

Let's consider our mantra for the day.

Aham Brahmasmi.

Aham Brahmasmi.

Aham Brahmasmi.

If you start to wander with your mind,

Just bring yourself back to your breathing and the mantra.

If you fall asleep,

That's absolutely okay.

Just bring yourself back.

I've got the time,

So no need to worry.

There is nothing wrong here.

We are just sitting in meditation.

So let's begin.

Aham Brahmasmi.

Aham Brahmasmi.

Aham Brahmasmi.

Aham Brahmasmi.

Aham Brahmasmi.

Let's start bringing our awareness back to our bodies.

Knowing that we can always come back to this place of silence and stillness.

Let's take another nice long slow deep breath in.

Whenever you feel comfortable you can open your eyes.

Beautiful,

Beautiful you guys.

The lesson today is fresh starts can be anytime you want them to be.

Enjoy this full moon energy,

This eclipse energy.

Who knows what it's going to bring about.

Maybe it's a fresh start for you.

I will see you next time.

Thank you for joining.

Namaste everybody.

Have a beautiful day.

Bye bye.
