You are about to experience a method that will enable you to stay positive and block yourself from negative feelings,
Emotions,
And energies that come your way.

Let's begin by having you think of a very positive and happy experience.
A time in your life where you felt truly happy,
Free,
And bright.
Let this memory play out in your mind and if you can't think of one,
Imagine what it would look like for you and how you may be feeling.
And now,
Begin to let that experience fade away into the background and keeping in mind that your mental and emotional ability to feel that way is always with you.
It is stored in your subconscious mind and it can be accessed anytime you desire.
Following my voice,
Begin to allow yourself to relax.
Give yourself permission to relax even deeper now by taking in three big deep breaths.
Deep breaths that come from your belly all the way in and back out.
These breaths are signaling to your mind and to your body that it is time to go within.
It is time to open up that door to your imagination and communicate with your subconscious mind.
Allow yourself to settle in and allow yourself to shift your focus from the outside to the inside.
Becoming even more aware of your breathing now,
Noticing how the air feels as it moves in and how it feels as you release it.
Begin to become aware of your heart,
Noticing its beats and noticing how it is responding as you further relax your mind and your body.
And begin to imagine a beautiful white light that begins at the top of your head.
It may even feel like a soft breeze.
No matter how you experience it,
Start to become aware of the feeling as it moves up and over your head,
Circling around the body and as it does,
It allows the body to relax even deeper.
Feeling the tension in your temples,
In your jaw and in your neck releasing.
Feeling the tension or tightness in your shoulders and chest release as the light continues to swirl around the body,
Releasing and relaxing your body.
And as your body relaxes,
So does your mind.
Continuing to feel this relaxation as the light moves along the stomach,
The waist and over the hips,
Releasing and relaxing,
Dissolving any tension as it moves around the legs,
The thighs,
The knees,
The calves and relaxing the feet and the toes.
And the more the body sinks down into the chair,
The more that the mind sinks into the subconscious.
And as we count down from five to zero,
At zero you will be even more relaxed.
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One and zero.
And now imagine yourself standing in front of a beautiful full length mirror.
And as you do,
You realize that this is a very special mirror and that it highlights all of your best qualities,
Making you feel happy and free.
And as you look at yourself in this mirror,
I want you to see yourself saying the following,
My mind is highly receptive to positive thoughts,
Ideas,
Emotions and energies that give me a feeling of well-being.
I will accept only positive thoughts and ideas that are beneficial to me for my well-being and my personal growth.
I have the ability to reject all negative thoughts,
Ideas or influences from anyone,
Including myself.
Each time I approach an experience where in the past I may have felt uncomfortable,
Tense,
Anxious or fearful,
I will now find that I'm more relaxed,
Calmer and more confident.
I allow myself to become aware of this new inner peace and to find that I truly enjoy the feeling of it.
In fact,
I like this feeling so much that nothing and no one can take this feeling from me.
This feeling of peace and happiness belongs to me.
This control over my mind,
My heart and my soul belongs to me.
And now closing your eyes,
Take a deep breath to seal in this experience.
And imagine,
Visualize or pretend that you are standing in front of the same mirror,
But now you are wearing a long checkered coat.
See yourself swirl in the coat and watch it fold all around you in a comfortable,
Calm,
Protective way.
And you realize that this coat is invisible to anyone else.
Only you can see it and only you know that you are wearing the coat.
And you realize that the checkers on it are very,
Very important.
The white allows all of the light,
All of the positive,
The true and the good to enter your mind,
Body and soul.
And the dark will block out any negatives from reaching you.
The coat even works internally,
Filtering out any negative thinking while nourishing the positive thoughts and beliefs.
You can wear this coat at all times,
Seeing yourself swirl or turn around in the coat,
Becoming so comfortable with it on and remembering that this coat is always available to you and that you can wear it at all times.
And so now,
Beginning to see the door to your imagination closing,
As we count up from zero to five and at five we'll find ourselves fully awake and in a non-suggestible state.
Zero sealing in all positive,
The true and the good.
One releasing anything that does not serve you.
Two seeing the door close.
Three becoming aware of your body.
Four becoming aware of any noises around you.
And five,
Eyes open and wide awake.
