Welcome,

Find a comfortable seated position,

Allowing your spine to be tall but not tense.

Let your shoulders soften,

Your hands rest gently on your thighs or over your heart and close your eyes.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in through your nose and exhale softly through your mouth.

With each breath,

Let your body arrive here,

In this moment.

Our throat,

Heart and womb are intimately linked via the vagus nerve,

The largest neural pathway that runs down the midline of the body.

In becoming aware of this connection,

We can begin to heal the parts of ourselves that life has taught us to close off.

In healing and opening these energy centres,

We can use our voice more freely,

Lead with an open heart and feel safe and at home in our bodies.

Begin to bring your awareness down into your sit bones.

Feel the weight of your body grounding into the earth beneath you.

Imagine roots growing from the base of your spine and your pelvis,

Moving down through the legs and the bottom of the feet.

Allow the roots to sink even deeper now,

Connecting you to the heart of the earth,

To Gaia.

These roots connect you to her nourishment,

Her stability and her strength.

As you inhale,

Imagine a white light from the centre of the earth drawing upward into your body.

And as you exhale,

Release any tension,

Any heaviness down through those roots and allow the earth to hold it for you.

Now bring your awareness to your pelvic area.

Imagine the light from the centre of the earth travelling up through your roots and landing in your womb space.

Allow the light to take rest here and expand,

Unfurling like the petals of a red rose.

This is Shakti,

Your divine feminine energy.

With every breath,

See this light pulsing with energy and life force and allow yourself to feel this aliveness moving within you.

On your inhale,

Imagine this energy rising up from your womb and landing in your heart.

On your exhale,

Imagine it flowing back down,

Returning to your root centre.

Like a gentle wave,

Feel it moving up and down,

Nourishing every part of you.

As it rises to your heart,

Notice if you feel warmth,

Tenderness or a soft opening.

Then let it return home to your womb,

The seat of creation,

Power and intuition.

Now allow the wave to move further this time,

Rising from your womb and taking rest in your throat chakra.

With each inhale,

Imagine this energy expanding in your throat,

Creating a deeper connection to your voice and the confidence to use that voice more freely in all of your interactions.

Take a moment to simply rest in this flow,

Breathing naturally,

Held by the rhythm of your own energy.

Allow the wave to move up and down,

From the womb,

Through the heart and throat space and back down again,

Like waves lapping gently against the shoreline.

Know that Shakti is always here,

Within you,

Guiding you,

Loving you.

When you're ready,

Bring your hands to your heart and whisper inwardly,

I am connected,

I am alive,

I am divine.

Take a deep,

Nourishing inhale and exhale with a sigh.

Slowly and when you're ready,

Open your eyes,

Carrying this radiance and divine connection with you into the rest of your day.
