I invite you to bring your attention to your body.
Noticing any tension.
Or pained.
And where that might be being held in your body.
Often in the fast pace of life.
We rarely slow to recognize what our body is telling us.
If you're not already,
I invite you to stand.
Continuing to notice what your body is telling you.
Is there tension in your neck?
Are your shoulders tense?
Is there an ache in your hips or your joints?
I invite you to bring your attention.
To where you're noticing.
Noticing these sensations.
I now invite you to bring some movement into your body.
Perhaps swaying back and forth?
Swinging your arms.
Shaking out your legs.
You may also choose to jump.
Putting your body into motion.
And staying focused on what your body's telling you.
Continue in this motion.
For another 30 seconds.
At whatever point,
You're in,
In motion.
Begin to slow.
And bring yourself back to standing.
Noticing now what your body is telling you.
I invite you to bring your attention back.
To where you felt that tension.
What is your body telling you now?
Embodying a practice of movement can support you in staying grounded.
I welcome you to come back to this practice as often as you need.
And continue to remember what your body's telling you.
Thank you for practicing with me today.
