Give yourself permission to walk your path.
Live into every truth,
Honor the moments as you look back and long for the you that you thought you were.
Grieve and let go,
For you are no longer her.
Burn down the tower,
It was always just made of sand.
And rebuild your golden castle,
Layered in love's bricks.
Demand your will to bend and not break.
In this life you will not be burned at the stake.
Medicine woman,
Shadow dancer,
Warrior of the heart.
These are but a few of my favorite parts.
No more need for the damsel and the belief that you can't.
No more comfortable cages,
No more familiar dance.
There is medicine inside of you.
And it's time to walk your path.
Life loves and believes in you,
So just start.
And when you look back,
Look back in gratitude for all the versions of you that you used to be.
They were guiding your light,
Transforming your being.
So that you would walk your path exactly as you are.
Give thanks to all of you,
Your inner teachers.
They've always been your north stars.
