This is a time for simply being with your experience just as you are and just how it is - bringing acceptance and a kindly awareness to whatever arises in your experience. It involves slowly directing attention to different parts of the body, observing sensations without judgment, and gently bringing the mind back whenever it wanders. The body scan is my go-to in times of stress. I can lie rest my body physically and use the body and my attention to ground. Suggested posture: Lying
