We're gonna talk about self-care today.
I am Kenne Corder,

And the reason why I am going to talk about self-care today is because I do this thing called the four S's of self-care.
You may have seen my longer video when I showed you how to have the silence,
The sound,
The stretching,
And the soothing.
Well,
Today we're just gonna focus on one.
Now,
There's hardly ever any real silence,
Right?
There's always something going on and you're just going to be quiet.
Inside.
That's the silence that I'm really talking about.
So don't worry about doing this any perfect way.
There's no perfect way.
Remember,
Just have an attitude of nonchalance.
Be yourself.
And connect.
No matter what sound is happening outside of you.
All you're doing is connecting with the silence.
Inside of you.
Are you ready?
You're going to start by taking a deep breath.
In through your nose.
And out through your mouth.
Do that again.
In through your nose.
Out through your mouth.
And this time,
This last breath.
Be ready for the silence.
If you want to close your eyes,
You can.
In through your nose.
Out through your mouth.
Just allow the natural sound.
Around you.
To bring you more presents.
Connect with the surface underneath you.
Feel the air on the skin.
Breathe deeper.
Just quicken your breath a little bit.
And there you go.
You just enjoyed five minutes of silence.
Do this anytime you need to.
Even if you don't have me around.
Take your chance.
Take your time.
Become present.
Return within.
And then get back to doing whatever it is you need to do for the day.
