This was a lovely track. I wasn't sure about the presence of bagpipes (sounded like them, at least) in a track marked as being "Viking" - as one from 50%+ Icelandic and Norwegian stock and an active Icelandic/Norwegian/German genealogist, who also does work in Scottish and Irish records for my spouses' family (who came from a line of the Scottish galloglass - fighters hired by the Irish to wage battles on behalf of the Irish, who supplied them with weaponry and armor - I don't recall the bagpipe being a part of the Nordic tradition, not even when you take it back to the general Danes and Swedes.

Having made that comment of uncertainty, it in no way diminished my enjoyment of this lovely piece. It was relaxing and invigorating at once, a nice way to slowly wake up this morning, and a track I look forward to listening to again in the future. Bookmarked so I can do just that. 😊
