Welcome to this guided meditation.
Find a place where you will not be distracted.
Sit or lie down on your back.
Now I want you to close your eyes and take a deep inhale.
Now exhale slowly.
Take another deep inhale.
This time I want you to focus on relaxing your body while you exhale.
Slowly.
Let go of all the tension in your body.
I want you to slowly scan your body from head to feet.
Slowly.
Notice which muscle is holding up stress.
And exhale.
Release the tension.
Release the stress stored between your eyebrows.
Relax your face.
Relax the jaw.
Let go of any tension holding up on your shoulder.
Relax your back.
Your stomach.
Feeling your legs getting heavier.
Your arms.
Your whole body becomes heavier.
Feel the ground beneath you.
You are safe.
Imagine yourself as a tree on the Mother Earth.
Roots growing from the place you are touching the ground.
It's reaching deeper and deeper.
And it's growing stronger and stronger.
Imagine leaves basing in the sun.
Warm and happy.
Breathing in all the energy.
And as you breathe in,
Imagine the warmth and light reaching into your lungs.
And being carried to everywhere in your body.
It's burning out all the negativity and stress in your body.
And when you exhale,
Breathe out all the unwanted energy,
Problems,
Stress.
You are safe and you are free.
There's nothing to be afraid of or worry about.
You are strong and you are in control.
You are safe and you are free.
Now take your attention back to the space you are in.
I want you to slowly move your legs and your arms.
Feel your body in the space.
And now I want you to open your eyes.
