Thank you for joining me in this meditation to set our energetic intention and activate our chakras.
Getting a bit more comfortable,
Sit with your spine straight or lay down on a comfortable surface being sure to elongate your spine.
Gently close your eyes or choose a point in the room to focus on with softened eyes.
Soften also your shoulders,
Your forehead,
Your cheek bones,
Your jaw and now focus on your breathing.
Begin taking slow comfortable breaths in your nose and out through pursed lips like you are blowing out a candle.
A few comfortable slow breaths here.
As we prepare to set our energetic intention,
Let us first gather the energy around us.
The energy from the Sun visualizing the expanse of the sky.
The oxygen that surrounds you.
We sit in gratitude for the oxygen that fills our lungs as we gather all of this energy from around us and draw it closer.
See it surround us.
Feel it on the edges of our skin.
Let us now draw this energy into our bodies,
Bringing your attention to your feet or to the part of the body that is touching the surface beneath you.
We are connecting with the root chakra.
We sense stability,
Purpose,
Life force and we see this energy flowing up through the legs,
Hips,
Buzzing around the abdomen,
Our sacral chakra,
The energy center of our emotions,
Relationships,
Passion and creativity.
Flowing to the solar plexus chakra,
The area around your navel.
Self-esteem,
Power,
The opportunity for transformation,
To connect to our highest self.
Tapping into what we want for ourselves,
What we desire and how we want to feel.
Breathing that up into our heart chakra.
Our chest and belly expand as we inhale.
Now bringing awareness to our fingertips,
We visualize receiving the energy from the world around us.
From the natural world just outside our window.
Bringing that energy in,
That life force.
Moving the energy up now to the crown of the head,
To the area just above the head.
Picturing our head opening in a V to absorb all of the wisdom from the universe.
Possibility and oneness with nature,
With each other.
Welcoming peace through the crown of the head.
Moving the energy down to the third eye,
Right between our eyebrows.
Roll the eyes gently back and as they settle,
We can welcome imagination and intuition.
Resting the corners of our eyes as we gently breathe energy into this center and our ability to instinctively understand.
Moving the energy down to the throat chakra.
Picturing a blooming of the throat,
A blossoming of expression,
Of communication.
Imagining the petals of a flower opening,
Blooming and then taking that beautiful energy and welcoming it to our heart center once again.
Here we have the energy from our lower body and upper body meeting at our heart center.
This place of love and compassion,
Gratitude for all that we are and we repeat this affirmation to ourselves.
I love myself and follow the voice of my heart.

Tuning into the heart,
We pause here to ask ourselves a few questions.
What is our intention for how we want to feel?
Honoring what comes up and listening without judgment.
What is our intention for how we want to feel?
How can we welcome these feelings?
How do we want to live this intention today?
Acknowledging the message of our heart and listening with self-compassion.
Repeat the affirmation to yourself once again.
I love myself and follow the voice of my heart.
As we breathe a few rounds together before we close,
Feeling our chest expand,
Taking in the life force,
Filling our lungs with oxygen and as we exhale,
Allowing the peace to settle at our heart center.
Breathing in with gratitude for all that we are,
Recalling our intention once again and breathing it into our heart space.
And now,
Ready to bring your awareness back to your body,
Gently moving your fingers and toes.
Beneath closed eyelids,
Gently fluttering the eyes,
Taking time for a nice deep inhale,
Gathering all the good energy and peacefully exhaling through pursed lips.
And when you are ready,
Slowly open your eyes,
Coming back to the room around you and softly smiling to yourself.
Assured,
Carrying with you the intention for how you will feel as you move through your day.
