Hello,

And welcome to your meditation practice today.

Begin today's meditation by first making yourself as comfortable as possible.

If you have the opportunity,

I invite you to lie down on the floor.

If not,

Perhaps you're seated for this meditation.

Find any shape in your body that brings you joy.

And try to embrace all the gifts that today's meditation can bring you.

Start by closing your eyes.

Try to be fully present in this one moment right here,

Right now.

Start to focus on your breath.

Notice your inhale and your belly rising.

And then notice your exhale and your belly falling.

And on your next inhale,

Try to become aware of the sound that your inhale makes.

And then become aware of the sound that your exhale makes.

And on your next breath,

I want you to notice that small space between the inhale and the exhale.

And now see if you can notice that small space between the exhale and the inhale.

By focusing on our beautiful breath,

We allow ourselves to be completely present in this moment right here,

Right now.

For today's meditation,

We'll be going through a visualization on the best version of ourselves.

Let's start by imagining the most beautiful house you've ever seen.

You take a couple steps into the house and you open the door.

And inside the house,

Everything is stunning.

Imagine the colors that you see.

Imagine the walls,

The floors,

The decorations.

And in this big gorgeous house,

There is an exquisite gold staircase.

At the top of the staircase,

You see a future version of yourself.

And this future version of yourself is the best version of yourself.

You are drawn to this version of yourself.

So you decide to start walking up this lovely staircase.

The best version of you is waiting at the top,

Smiling with a warm,

Inviting look on his or her face.

You're excited and you're also a little anxious to meet this version of you.

Once you get to the top,

You're greeted by your best version of yourself and they give you the warmest embrace.

Take a look at what the best version of yourself looks like.

What is he or she wearing?

How is he or she standing?

What does your best version of yourself look like?

And the best version of yourself takes your hand and gently guides you to have a seat.

You guys sit down on two comfy chairs in front of a grand fireplace.

This is your opportunity to ask your future self anything you need to ask.

So first,

Ask your future best version of yourself what it is that they do all day.

What do they prioritize?

What did they need to get rid of in their life that no longer serves them?

What does this future version of yourself do for a living?

And then ask them what did they do to get to where they're at?

How happy is the best version of yourself?

Ask them for any advice.

Your best version of yourself knows the way and this is your opportunity to ask them.

So what comes up in your conversation with the best version of you?

So you sit down and chat with the best version of yourself.

They are warm and welcoming and open to answering any questions you have.

The best version of yourself reminds you that even though you may be striving for a better version of yourself,

Don't forget to also fall in love with the process of trying to get to where you want to go.

The best version of yourself is quite wise and he or she reminds you that it's not about reaching the top of the staircase for the best version of yourself,

But it's about embracing all the beauty that is around you as you walk up the staircase.

They remind you again to fall in love with the process.

They remind you to trust the process.

They remind you to try not to control how to get to be the best version of yourself,

But to be open to all the opportunities and possibilities that are already right in front of you.

You give that best version of yourself a great big hug and now you have more clarity of not only where you want to go,

But also how you are going to get there.

And although you briefly say goodbye to that best version of you,

You know that it is not a goodbye forever.

You know that you will see that best version of yourself again and not just in meditation,

But in the mirror as your own true self.

And as you walk back down the beautiful staircase,

You already realize that you're a little different than when you walked up the staircase.

You embrace each moment as you walk down the staircase and you are present for each breath as you do so.

Breathing in and breathing out,

Slowly walking down the stairs back into reality.

And as you reach the bottom of the stairs,

You feel relaxed,

You feel calm and confident that you are slowly progressing towards the best version of yourself.

Remember that you are the greatest project you will ever work on.

Remember that you are the most important project that you will ever work on.

Don't give up.

Each day and even each breath is another opportunity to get closer to the truest and happiest version of your beautiful self.

Thank you all so much for joining me.

Have a wonderful day.

This was great. Love the visualisation and the part about enjoying the process of getting to the best version of yourself. And the importance of breath.
