Anytime you connect with home,
There's also a feeling of centeredness,
You know.
Like I give you a beautiful,
Beautiful mantra to come back home.
The mantra is my life.
Take two breaths.
Bringing me to the center of the heart,
My life.
Your light.
For now,
You're live.
My life.
That's not narcissistic.
My life it just reminds you that you have a beating heart.
That you have a life.
It's not an egotistical mantra.
Say it once in a while.
When you say that,
It's like,
What am I doing?
We do a quick life review.
What am I doing?
Okay,
One of the wildest things that ego does,
And there's nine billion of us,
This is a very wild thing that ego does.
Ego takes the chattering mind.
And ego takes your personal preferences.
And wants to superimpose them,
On nature which is made of trillions of atoms dancing with each other.
Nature doesn't give a hoot.
About your personal preference.
So what happens?
You reserve an airline ticket.
You go to Hawaii to get suntan and then it starts to rain.
And you get all upset even for five minutes.
If you think about the craziness of that,
Because.
.
.
That beach in Hawaii is made of,
I don't know,
100 trillion atoms colliding with each other.
In order to create a particular weather front.
That weather front doesn't give a hoot.
About your first name,
Last name,
Social security number,
Or how much you paid for your vacation.
But think about the world right now.
All the leaders,
All the movie stars.
Everybody has a personal preference.
That they want to superimpose on today.
It's craziness.
Every time you have a preference,
Towards what's happening during the day.
You're being crazy.
Think about this.
How many times during a week do you superimpose your preference?
What has happened?
Like,
Traffic.
The airplane is 10 minutes late.
I had a friend at the airport in Paris,
She said,
Can we go?
I don't want to stand here.
Let's just go someplace.
Because one of the airplanes was late.
So you have a lot of pain that way,
Frankly.
The question is,
What's the alternative?
Should I be a zombie?
Should I be epithetic?
Really,
The yogic solution is stay with the breath.
Show up in the day See if you can trust your heartbeat.
See if you can trust your breathing.
See if you can trust the flow of the day as if the flow of the day is intelligent.
Either this nature around us is completely stupid,
Everything is haphazard.
Or there is deep organization and intelligence.
In all of this.
Both Kant quantum physicists and the ancient yogis would say.
That the world is made of consciousness,
Consciousness is not dumb.
But superimposing your personal preference.
On the moment is very dumb.
So then I'll just tell you something from personal experience,
And I'm sure some of you have had this experience.
The more you learn to trust the flow of the day.
The more you learn to ride the breath.
The more you feel like there is something guiding you.
I don't need to be a control freak.
The more you do that,
The more you report to me that you're having more and more serendipity.
And the more successful you are in manifesting some of your needs.
And it's madness because nature doesn't give a hoot.
About your personal preference.
What are you learning in meditation?
You're learning to watch the mind.
You watch it You're learning to watch your mood.
Just watch it.
And then you start to feel energy in Kriya Yoga.
So you're slowly learning to trust that.
