♪♪ ♪♪ ♪♪ So I invite you to close your eyes if you'd like.
I'm just going to go into a time of meditation,
Contemplation.
♪♪ ♪♪ ♪♪ ♪♪ Spirit,
Holy Mother,
Father,
Always to the one,
Earth and sky,
Give thanks for your presence.
And as we look into a time of renewal,
As we look towards new ways to exist together,
We ask forgiveness for past deeds to the earth,
To our neighbors,
To those who may look different than us,
Have different philosophies,
Different religions,
Cultures,
Gender or no gender,
Able,
Alter-able,
Young or old.
I now ask you to put your hand on your heart and another one in the air and imagine this golden light,
This fear in front of you that's made of complete joy,
Kindness,
Forgiveness,
Hope,
Inclusion.
Imagine reaching out into this fear,
This holy,
This gracious light full of love.
Imagine it enveloping you,
Healing all your wounds,
All your doubts about yourself.
It gives you complete forgiveness and wants only the best for you and is so loving that it gives you strength.
And as you feel this in your body,
Imagine radiating out to the community,
To the nation,
To all nations,
Enveloping the world and the universe as we reach out to spread that love,
That kindness,
That complete and utter forgiveness and compassion so that we may see all cultures,
All peoples,
All races,
Genders,
No genders,
Male,
Female,
Young,
Old as from the same light,
That we may see our humanity,
Our wo-manity in each of us,
Allowing us grace to make mistakes,
To be different,
Knowing that we all are scared at times,
That we have doubts.
And I ask of you to hold this in your heart as you move through your life,
Remembering that we all come from the same spark of light.
