Love and Time Meditation

In this brief meditation, Dr. Julia Mossbridge introduces her work relating unconditional love and time and takes the listener through a beautiful meditation in which unconditional love rains down onto the entire web of your life, from birth to death.

Hi everyone,

My name is Julia Mossbridge and I'm a scientist,

A futurist,

And a mystic,

And I love my life.

I'm on Insight Timer because I have two pieces of information that have strongly affected my life that I want to share with people.

One of them is about unconditional love and the power of what I call love banking,

Which is borrowing love from the future when you don't feel much now,

Or depositing love now if you feel it so that other times in your life you can withdraw it,

Just like a bank,

But for love.

The other thing that I'm passionate about is understanding your life in time and how time works.

So I'll be doing two courses about that.

I think I'll probably do the love banking one first and the time one second,

But eventually they'll both be on here.

I invite you to listen to them and see how they can change your life and how you can see yourself in time and love yourself in time.

For now,

I'd like to start with a meditation that's about getting into a space of unconditional love and seeing yourself throughout time.

So here's what we're going to do.

Get to a place that's quiet.

Maybe you're going for a walk in nature,

Or maybe you're sitting down,

Maybe you're on your bed.

Sometimes I like to meditate,

But I'm in the bathroom,

So maybe you're in the bathroom,

Or in the shower,

Wherever it is for you.

Get there and imagine that there's a line,

Like a piece of thread that traces your life from the very beginning when you were born to the very end when you die.

It traces everywhere where you have gone.

Even right now,

Let's say you're walking in the forest,

It's tracing your walk in the forest where you were just walking and where you will be walking.

It'll go through the whole world,

And if you're an astronaut,

It'll even go off the planet as you go to the moon or wherever you're going.

But it follows you.

It's your specific world line.

Physicists actually call that a world line for a particle when it starts at its beginning and goes until its end.

Set aside for now the recognition that when you die and before you were born,

Those particles that were part of you still existed,

And that your mind still may exist or did exist.

Set that aside and just do your life from birth to death right now.

Look at that as you might,

As if it were a painting.

So back up and take a look at that world line,

Just for a moment.

Look at how it swirls.

There's some places where it goes back and forth,

Back and forth,

Back and forth.

It's moving around a lot.

Even if you only stayed in one town your whole life,

That world line is moving around a lot.

It's painting a beautiful web.

See if you can look at the web.

Think of yourself as the spider.

And see yourself sitting in the middle of that web,

With branches stretching out in front of you and behind you.

Now from this place on the web,

This place in the middle of your world line of your life,

We're going to do some loving.

We're going to do some loving.

So what that means is we're going to look around.

In fact,

You might want to turn around,

Look around.

You might want to,

If you're sitting down,

You might want to get up and actually turn around,

Look 360 degrees at your world line,

At your web.

And you're going to imagine a golden sun above your head,

Big golden sun that has your name on it in sparkling letters.

Maybe it's super colorful letters.

Look up and check to see what do those letters look like that spell out your name.

So they're perfect for you and it's marking that big golden sun as your love.

You get to access that love anytime you want.

So go ahead and say the magic word.

Say your name right now.

Your own name out loud.

Say your name and let that love come pouring down from that sun,

Trickling down into your body,

Into the area around your body.

And as you turn around,

You can see it going out on all of these lines on your world line on your web.

Into the past,

Into the future,

Into every moment of where you will be from birth until death.

Feel that.

Keep that going as long as that energy,

That beautiful golden energy is flowing down in these beautiful droplets into you and into your web.

Remember the secret word that made that all begin?

It's your name.

Congratulations.
