Judy Thompson, MS, C-IAYT is a Certified Yoga Therapist, educator, and founder of Sakala School of Integrative Teaching. Her work integrates yoga therapy, contemplative practice, trauma-informed education, and integrative mental health, with a focus on supporting meaningful connection to body, mind, and lived experience. She holds a Master of Science in Yoga Therapy and has spent more than a decade developing educational programs, professional trainings, publications, and reflective learning resources that bridge neuroscience, contemplative traditions, and embodied approaches to well-being. As a yoga therapist, Judy is particularly interested in the role of breath, movement, interoception, meditation, and self-inquiry in supporting nervous system regulation, emotional awareness, resilience, and personal growth. Her work invites curiosity, reflection, and compassionate engagement with the many layers of human experience. Through Sakala School of Integrative Teaching, she creates trainings, educational resources, writings, and contemplative learning experiences that translate complex ideas into practical and accessible tools for everyday life.
