I'm spiritual director JR Mann.
Welcome to your life's work.
What are you currently fighting?
Who is it?
What is it?
Where is it?
Why is that fight important?
How has that fight affected your relationships?
And is it possible to see beyond the fight?
Can you join what you are fighting and invite the fight to stop?
One of the biggest lies the world shoves into our consciousness is that we're made to fight,
Supposed to fight.
Some faith circles encourage it.
Some political systems expect it.
Our very idea of success is laden with the idea that we take up arms to be number one at any cost.
And it's all garbage,
Built to keep you exhausted,
Alone,
Up and away from loving yourself,
Loving others and loving the divine.
I'm not suggesting you become a doormat or a target for the world's aggression.
I'm encouraging you to live an undefended life.
A life aware of its own opposition and oppression while allowing that consciousness to become the fight of service,
Freeing others from oppression and opposition as we collectively learn to give and receive love.
Can your fight be your service?
