Using the sounds of nature, deeply relaxing music and a calm voice. Summit allows you to drift into a deep and meaningful sleep. You will be encouraged to sleep until your normal get-up-time. Sleep is so important to us mentally and physically. Dreams help us deal with the previous day's stresses and anxieties.

Thank you for choosing to relax and unwind with well-being online.
You will shortly enjoy a deep state of relaxation and calm.
So much so,
Please do not attempt to drive or operate machinery whilst listening to this recording.
Please ensure you're sitting or lying comfortably and allow time for you.
Switch off any distractions in your environment and in your mind.
Close your eyes now.
Just notice how comfortable you're beginning to feel.
You're supported so you can just let go and relax.
Any sounds you hear from now on are unimportant as you just concentrate on my voice and continue to relax.
Just notice how comfortable you're beginning to feel.
You're supported so you can just let go and just notice your breathing for a moment.
Just notice your breathing.
Deep,
Even breathing.
Notice where the air enters the body and where it leaves the body.
And the deeper the breathing,
The deeper the sense of relaxation.
A gentle fascination around each breath in this moment.
Just here,
Right here,
Right now.
Deep,
Even breathing.
Maybe noticing the gentle rising and falling of each breath in this moment.
And each breath is just drawing you deeper and deeper into a state of total relaxation.
Drawing you down,
Feeling that gentle pull of gravity pulling you down and down and relaxing you more and more.
As everything begins to slow down now,
As you just concentrate on my voice and continue to relax.
Breathing deeply and evenly.
And let's begin with relaxing all the muscles in the face,
Especially the jaw.
The jaw is beginning to feel so heavy now,
So relaxed now.
Tongue sitting comfortably in the mouth and the jaw is beginning to feel more and more relaxed,
Heavier and heavier.
And this relaxed feeling,
This wonderful warming sensation is working its way into your temples now,
Deep into the tissues.
And as you think about relaxing these muscles,
They will relax.
Just feel them relax.
Like a beautiful massage,
Warming and relaxing,
Deeper and deeper.
And all the muscles in the forehead now,
Smooth and relaxed.
Smooth and relaxed.
And now rest your eyes.
Just imagine the eyelids feeling so comfortable,
So heavy and so relaxed.
Just double the relaxation in the eyelids and then double the relaxation again.
So the eyelids are feeling so heavy,
So heavy and so relaxed.
All those tiny muscles,
Just softening and loosening.
You may feel you can barely open those eyelids,
They're feeling so heavy and so relaxed.
And each breath you take is just drawing you deeper and deeper into total relaxation.
As everything slows down,
Feeling heavier and heavier.
Just feeling that gentle pull of gravity pulling you deeper and deeper into total relaxation.
And this warming relaxation is working its way into the back of your neck and your shoulders now.
The massage continues,
Deep into the tissues,
Warming,
Calming.
This sense of peace and wellbeing flowing through your whole body.
And this sense of relaxation and warmth moves slowly down your back now.
Very slowly down your spine.
Down,
Down,
Deeper and deeper,
Right down to the base of your spine.
Letting all those muscles go,
Relaxing deeper and deeper.
And all the muscles in the arms right down to the fingertips relax.
You may feel you can barely lift those arms,
They're feeling so heavy,
So heavy and so relaxed.
You may have a tingling in your fingertips or a warmth in the palms of your hands and that's perfectly fine.
That's just your body telling you you're beginning to relax in a very natural way.
And as you breathe out once more,
Just relax all the muscles in the chest,
Just let them go.
And all the muscles in the stomach,
Feel them relax too.
And then feel that wave of relaxation working its way slowly down your legs now.
Right down to the tips of your toes.
So your whole body is just drifting longer and floating,
Deeper and deeper,
Relaxed.
And I would like you to imagine a scale where a hundred is as wake as you can be with your eyes closed.
Going right down to zero which is just before sleep.
And I wonder what it would be like to see where you are right now.
And then just allow yourself to drift a few notches down.
Down towards zero,
Down towards sleep.
Just drifting deeper and deeper,
Down towards zero,
Down towards sleep.
Starting to feel unbelievably relaxed now.
Unbelievably calm now as you just drift and float deeper and deeper,
Down towards zero,
Down towards sleep.
Drifting,
Floating,
Heavier and heavier,
Down,
Down,
Down towards zero and sleep.
Zero and sleep.
Drifting and floating deeper and deeper,
Heavier,
Heavier,
Down towards zero,
Down towards sleep.
Sleep.
Taking yourself right down to the basement level of total relaxation now.
And because you are so relaxed and continuing to relax,
I would like you to imagine ten steps leading you down to a beautiful place.
Perhaps you'd enjoy walking in a valley of mountains with snow capped peaks wrapped up warm and snug while the air is cool and fresh.
Or lying in a meadow or cornfield at the height of summer,
Watching the clouds drift slowly by or listening to the sounds of birds or a babbling brook,
Feeling warm,
Safe and secure as you drift off into a light doze,
A gentle slumber.
Or perhaps you prefer a more exotic location with a waterfall cascading out of the sky into a crystal clear lagoon where the water is cool,
Pure and refreshing and supports you if you choose to float on your back.
Any place in nature is perfectly fine.
And in a moment I'm going to count backwards from ten down to one and you can just imagine taking the ten steps down to your chosen place.
And as you take each step,
Feel your body relax more and more.
Feel the relaxation doubling and deepening with each successive step as you drift down and down and relax even deeper.
Ten.
Nine,
Relaxing deeper and deeper.
Eight.
Seven,
Doubling the relaxation.
Six,
Deeper and deeper.
Five,
Twice as relaxed as before now.
Four,
Three,
Relaxing more and more.
Two and one,
Deeper,
Deeper,
Relaxed,
Relaxed.
And now imagine you're in your chosen place in nature and the temperature is just fine.
And take a few moments now to make yourself really comfortable in this place.
Take a good look around at the scenery,
The colours,
The beauty of nature,
Make it really beautiful.
And drink in the peacefulness,
The tranquillity of your surroundings.
And the sounds of nature are like music to your ears,
Calming your mind,
Soothing your soul and raising your spirits.
And allow that sense of peace now and that sense of confidence now to grow stronger and stronger for you as you enjoy being in nature.
And now just linger in your special place.
There's no place to go,
Nothing to do,
Just rest.
Just let yourself drift and float,
Drift and float into a sound and restful sleep.
And as you drift deeper and deeper,
Fill your mind with positive thoughts such as,
It is a good day for me to rest and sleep and recharge my batteries for another wonderful day tomorrow.
I have achieved many good things today and I deserve a good night's sleep.
You have released any negative thoughts and feelings.
You have released stress and tension from your mind,
Body and thoughts.
Each positive statement about yourself becomes stronger and stronger as you continue to drift deeper and deeper into relaxation.
Just let yourself drift deeper and deeper into sleep.
Just let those positive statements float in your mind as you drift into a sound and restful sleep.
And now become aware of how comfortable you feel,
So relaxed.
Your head and shoulders just in the right position.
Your back is supported and you're becoming less and less aware of all the normal sounds of your surroundings.
And as you drift deeper and deeper,
You may experience a negative thought trying to surface in your mind,
Trying to disrupt your slumber,
Trying to disturb your rest.
Simply take that thought,
Sweep it up as you would sweep up crumbs from the floor and place that thought or worry into a box.
The box has a nice tight lid.
Put the lid on the box and place the box on top of the shelf or your wardrobe.
You can go back to that box at any other time,
A time that is more appropriate,
A time that will not interfere with your sleep.
So as these unwanted thoughts appear,
Sweep them up and place them in the box.
Put the lid on the box and place it on top of the shelf or your wardrobe and let them go.
Let them go and continue to drift deeper and deeper into sleep.
Shift your thoughts back to your positive thoughts and positive statements and just let these thoughts flow through your mind.
Thoughts such as,
I'm a worthwhile person.
I have accomplished many good things.
I have reached positive goals.
Just let your own positive ideas flow through your mind now.
Let them flow and drift,
Becoming stronger and stronger as you drift deeper and deeper into sleep.
You may begin to see them slowly fade,
Slowly fade as you become even more relaxed,
More sleepy,
More drowsy,
More relaxed.
Just imagine yourself in your peaceful and special place,
Smiling,
Feeling so comfortable,
So relaxed.
And from your special place you can easily drift into a sound and restful sleep,
A sound and restful sleep,
Undisturbed in a deep,
Deep,
Refreshing sleep.
You sleep throughout the night in a sound and restful sleep,
A deep,
Deep,
Refreshing sleep.
And if you should happen to awake,
You simply imagine your special place once again and you drift easily back into a sound and restful sleep,
A warm,
Cosy,
Comfortable sleep.
Your breathing becomes so relaxed.
Your thoughts wind down,
Wind down,
Wind down,
And relax.
You drift and float into a sound and restful sleep,
Undisturbed throughout the night.
You will awaken at your designated time feeling rested and refreshed.
But right now there's nothing to do,
Nothing to think about,
Nothing to do but enjoy your special place,
Your special place that's so peaceful for you,
So relaxing.
Just imagine how it feels to relax in your special place.
You may become aware of how clean and fresh your special place is,
Or you may become aware of the different sounds of your special place,
Such as birds singing in the background.
You may become aware of how warm the sun feels on your skin,
Or how intoxicating the air smells as the breeze blows gently across the landscape.
Or you may experience something else that is unique and wonderful in your special place right now.
Right now,
Just imagine it drift and float,
All thoughts just fading,
Drifting into a sound and restful sleep.
Just drift into a comfortable,
Cosy,
Restful sleep,
Allowing sleep to envelop you in its warm,
Comfortable,
Cosy embrace.
Your body feeling so heavy now and relaxed now as you sink into your bed,
So comfortable,
So heavy,
So relaxed,
Just drifting into sleep,
Enjoying a deep,
Deep,
Refreshing sleep,
A warm,
Comfortable,
Cosy sleep,
Sleep,
Sleep,
Sleep,
Sleep,

Sleep.
And each and every time you play this recording,
