Hi,

My name is Jodie Matthews and I am so grateful you are here with me today for this pregnancy after loss meditation.

Just to begin,

This meditation may be quite emotional and I want you to know that whatever comes up for you is completely okay and if you feel like you need to shed some tears then you can.

Just allow the emotion to wash over you and whatever comes up is perfect for you.

Just a little bit of background,

I have a beautiful angel baby,

Hamish,

Who was stillborn at 39 weeks due to a cord accident.

He is my guardian angel and I am dedicating this meditation to him.

I also have a beautiful rainbow baby,

Lucy.

I would love to send this meditation to you from my heart to help you on your journey with pregnancy after loss.

Now,

I would love you to lie down on your left side and find a comfortable position.

Now take some breaths in through your nose,

Out through your mouth.

Just three breaths.

I want to honour you beautiful angel mother as you bring a new beautiful life into this world.

I want to take a moment as we start this meditation for honouring your beautiful baby that didn't make it into this world or if they did it wasn't for very long.

I want to honour you as a warrior mother,

A beautiful soul who was chosen to carry a beautiful baby that just wasn't quite ready for this world.

You my dear are so so powerful.

You my dear are so so loved.

Know that your precious angel baby is watching over you each step of the way as you go through this next pregnancy and they are here for you to support you as you take each day as it comes.

Know that while you go through this pregnancy it may be hard,

There may be days where you feel very anxious but as long as you keep coming back into the present moment and connecting with your heart and your beautiful rainbow baby you will know that you are so loved.

I want you to now connect in with your beautiful rainbow baby.

I want you to ask it how it's going.

I want you to ask your beautiful rainbow baby if it's got a message for you today.

Your beautiful rainbow baby is ready to come into the world.

Trust your intuition each day.

Go with feelings over fear.

Know that sometimes your mind will creep up and take over.

Baby will come and go,

So will the fear of loss.

Nothing is promised in this life as we all know.

The dance between life and death can be so close.

Know that I am sending you beautiful protection love for this pregnancy.

I am sending you from my heart to yours peace,

Calm and presence.

I want you to come back into your heart today.

I want you to imagine a beautiful ball of pink light glowing from your heart and as you imagine this beautiful glow of light,

Imagine it covering your beautiful rainbow baby with all of this pink love from your heart.

As you walk through this pregnancy there will be days that won't be easy but know that this beautiful pink loving energy is always with you.

It's okay to cry if you need to.

It's okay to be sad.

It's okay to feel grief when you're on a new journey.

It's okay to miss your baby that you lost and want them back too.

I want you to know that everything you are feeling right now is completely normal and just trust that the love you have for your beautiful angel baby will be shared with this new bundle of joy when they arrive.

I now want you to take a few breaths in through your nose,

Out through your mouth and just sit in gratitude for this beautiful journey that you are currently on.

Let your rainbow baby know how much you love them and let them know that you're thankful they've chosen you as their mother.

And when you're ready you can come back into the room that you're in,

Slowly wiggle your fingers and toes and you can softly open your eyes.

Thank you for holding space! My only suggestion is some people donโ€™t use the term rainbow baby, so that made it harder to connect at times. Other than that I heard a message loud and clear from my baby and my angel babies. โค๏ธNamaste

I needed this meditation. Pregnancy after loss is extremely difficult emotionally and not many understand the type of support and care you need to keep moving forward. This helped tremendously when I needed itโ€ฆ

So lovely. I lost my baby boy at 24 weeks in July, and Iโ€™ve just found out Iโ€™m pregnant again. I have massive amounts of anxiety as Iโ€™m no stranger to miscarriage as well. This meditation really grounded me. Thank you.
