Many of us critique our perceived flaws when we look in the mirror.
But the way we speak to ourselves is as important as the way we speak to others.
Yet,
How often do we speak lovingly to ourselves?
So,
I challenge you to do some mirror work.
You will repeat after me some positive affirmations while looking directly in your eyes.
This may feel confronting.
Uncomfortable feelings may arise.
Please let them go and continue on.
This is a deeply loving,
Comforting and even healing practice and I suggest you do it daily.
All you have to do is repeat after me.
I'm going to give you a few moments after each affirmation in order to let it really sink in.
Let's begin by taking a cleansing breath in through the nose and gently releasing it out through the mouth.
Roll your shoulders back,
Stand strong and sure.
Place your hand on your heart.
Look yourself in the eyes.
I believe in myself.
I am blessed with many abilities.
I face challenges with courage.
I am filled with hope.
I release any fear or anxiety.
I trust in my heart and intuition.
I am grateful for all that I have.

I show compassion to myself and others.
