Hello and welcome to a mindful meditation in the workplace.

Sometimes our job can create a lot of stress built up in our body,

Our workload,

Interactions with different people,

And sometimes even just the challenges and projects we have ahead of us.

So I want to take a few minutes and disconnect.

I want to unwind and untangle the stress that we've created and built up within our body so that we can move forward with our day in a more intentional,

Productive,

And enjoyable way.

I want you to start by sitting up tall,

But relaxed bringing your feet flat against the ground and softly closing your eyes or keeping a soft gaze ahead of you.

The workplace can create a lot of disconnect between the mind and the body throughout the day.

I would like to take a minute and allow you to disconnect from all of the things that need to be done today.

In doing so,

You are going to allow your mind and body to reset and this will give you the opportunity to engage in your work more intentionally.

Let's begin by tuning into the breath,

Taking a deep inhale in through the nose.

And exhale through the mouth with an audible sound.

In through the nose,

Out through the mouth.

Continue doing this breath and as you inhale,

I invite you to pay attention to the sensation of the cool breeze going in through your nostril.

And with your exhale,

Imagine all of the stress and weight and pressure in the neck and shoulders to just release.

One more time in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Now that we've tuned into the breath,

I invite you to go back to a normal rhythm in your breath.

We are going to tune in to our body now and scan from head to toe,

Relaxing all of the different muscles of the body.

Sometimes in the workplace,

We can find ourselves holding tension in places throughout the day and this is going to be an opportunity to release that tension.

So let's go ahead and get started by imagining a warm glowing light just above the head.

And this glowing light is going to come down over the head.

And as you feel this warm sensation coming down over the face,

Kissing the eyes over the nose and the lips,

Down the jaw,

Around the ears,

Down the neck.

I want you to imagine this warm light just relaxing,

Bringing calm,

Bringing calm,

Bringing a sense of accomplishment,

Wholeness down over your shoulders,

Relaxing your shoulders.

You can go ahead and move your body to untangle any of those spots in your shoulders or in your neck,

In your back,

Allowing the warm light to come down over your hips,

Around your bottom,

Over your thighs to your knees,

Feeling that warmth,

Feeling that sensation of complete relaxation into the body,

Down to the ankles and now into the feet and the toes,

As you bathe in this warm light,

I invite you to allow your mind to soften.

Every day brings you new obstacles,

New challenges to overcome and thrive.

Your contribution is so appreciated.

You take pride in your work.

It feels so good to be clear minded and intentional.

You know it needs to be done and you do it efficiently.

Your work brings fulfillment when you are intentional.

It feels good to contribute to something you feel so passionate about.

So now that we've tuned into our breath,

Cleared and untangled the stress from our body,

I invite you into the rest of your day to be inspired and to bring joy and excitement to the people around you.

In a moment,

I'm going to invite you to wiggle your toes and blink open your eyes on the count of three.

I'm going to fill you with so much energy and love and abundance for the rest of your days.

One,

Two,

Three,

Go ahead and open your eyes,

Wiggling your toes,

Stretching your body and taking that deep breath in,

Feeling so awake and so ready to dive into the rest of your day.

I hope you have a wonderful day and remember that you are so loved and appreciated.

Thank you for joining.

May your day be filled with joy and intention.
