Okay,
Take a moment to get somewhere comfortable.
You might want to sit or lie down,
Whatever feels good to you right now.
And let your eyes close,
Begin to notice your breath and slow it down.
Notice if you're shallow breathing and try to elongate your inhales and exhales.
Feeling your belly expand with your inhale and taking a slow,
Steady exhale as you release any stuck air,
Emptying out your diaphragm and your lungs.
Feeling your belly contract.
Take a few moments to really focus on your breath.
Again,
Allowing your exhale to be your cleansing breath to release anything that is stuck,
Stagnant,
Not serving you right now.
Letting your body soften.
Feeling so supported by the chair you're sitting in or the bed you're lying on,
The earth beneath you.
Right now,
In this moment,
You are safe.
Nothing is required of you.
There's nothing to figure out.
Just let yourself arrive.
Again,
If there's any racing thoughts or mental clutter that you can just exhale and release,
Put aside for now.
We're going to let go of any to-do lists,
Anything that's required your attention so far today.
And as we bring awareness to our body,
To our energy,
And let our subconscious come online,
We want to take a moment to acknowledge and speak to the part of you that believes safety comes from something in particular.
In this case,
Money,
A certain level of income,
A certain amount of money in your bank account,
A certain number,
A certain kind of stability or certainty that you think that that brings.
Take a moment to reflect on this pattern,
However it shows up for you.
And again,
We're not judging at all here.
We're just bringing awareness to what's true in this moment.
And of course,
We know with any pattern like this,
There's nothing wrong again,
But there might be something that has been trying to protect you.
There's a reason that you have this belief.
And it's been serving a purpose for you thus far.
So imagine this part of you,
This part that equates safety with financial stability as a presence or an energy or maybe a version of yourself.
Maybe it's a version of you at a certain age,
Or maybe it's just a version of you now who really is in that energy of needing safety.
Where do you feel this energy in your body?
When you think about the need for safety,
The need for financial stability,
What part of your body does that show up in?
Continue taking those long,
Deep breaths and maybe do a body scan to notice if you're feeling tension,
Energy,
Buzzing sensation,
Or something that's requiring retention in a certain part of your body.
Breathe into that part of your body.
Creating a little bit of space,
Sending it so much love.
And see if you could acknowledge this part with gratitude.
Again,
Knowing that it's working hard to keep you safe.
There's a reason that this energy is protecting you with your beliefs,
With your actions,
With some patterns.
What does it seem to want from you?
Is there a message that this energy has for you right now?
Continue breathing and focusing on this part of you that's providing safety.
And gently notice or maybe consider that this isn't the only kind of safety.
This isn't the only place in your body where there's safety.
Safety is also in your breath,
In your ability to respond,
In your incredible resilience,
And in the support that exists around you.
You don't have to manufacture safety.
You can receive safety.
You can be safety.
You can embody safety.
Now imagine a version of you who feels safe,
Even in the unknown.
Not dependent on your income or your environment or any external factors.
This version of you who embodies safety.
She trusts herself.
She makes empowered decisions.
She feels grounded.
You might bring to mind a visual of this version of you.
And notice her energy.
How does this version of you breathe?
How does she hold herself?
How does she feel in her body?
How does she respond to external stimulation and circumstances that may be considered negative or difficult?
What does she know to be true?
And how can you try that on?
See for a moment if you can gently step into becoming her,
Merging with her.
Allowing this part of you to take over your energy for a moment.
Just trying it on.
Seeing how it feels in your body to become that safety.
This version of you already exists,
And you can return to her.
At any moment.
Whenever a pattern comes up that's unhelpful.
Whenever you feel triggered.
Unsafe.
Like you're grasping for something external to make you feel safe.
You can come back to this part of you.
And remember that safety is something that you can create.
Not something you have to chase.
Now let's take one or two more deep cleansing breaths.
Bringing your awareness back to your body.
Feeling your stomach and chest expand as you inhale.
And feeling all of that air release any tension in your body as you exhale.
Once again,
Feeling so supported.
So grounded.
Knowing that you are safe.
Even when you're uncertain.
