This is a meditation to open one's self to receiving abundantly. We utilize Adhara Mudra, the gesture of support. Adhara means "foundation" and supports us in connecting to the Divine, which is the source for abundance. This meditation will guide you through identifying your needs and desires, letting go of thoughts and beliefs that no longer serve you and will allow you to surrender your requests to Source. This meditation includes an affirmation at the end that you can take with you.

Welcome to the meditation for opening to receive abundantly.

This meditation was recorded on 2-22-22,

An auspicious day for cultivating the energy of abundance and prosperity.

This meditation will utilize Adhara Mudra.

Adhara means foundation and refers to the divine or the universe or your higher power as the source of all abundance.

This mudra will direct your breath,

Awareness and energy into the solar plexus,

Supporting you to cultivate a sense of enthusiasm and self-esteem that will support you in recognizing that you are worthy to receive abundantly.

To enhance the effectiveness of this type of prayer or meditation,

We must first clarify what we need,

Which can sometimes involve looking beyond our surface level needs and our surface level desires.

This meditation will support you in identifying those desires and needs,

And it will also support you in identifying any negative beliefs that you are unworthy of receiving.

This meditation will support you in instilling a sense of trust that you always receive everything you need at the right moment along your journey.

For,

The divine is working behind the curtain to know what you need right when you need it.

So let's begin.

Bring your hands into Adhara Mudra by first bringing the palms together in prayer position in front of your abdomen.

Your fingertips will be facing forward.

You'll keep the fingertips and the wrists and the bottoms of your palms together.

And you'll take the thumbs and spread them apart out away from one another like little open wings.

This will create space between the palms as if you were cupping everything in the universe.

Now take a moment to make any micro movements you might need and get comfortable in your seat.

I invite you to close your eyes down if that feels comfortable and safe for you.

Or choose a spot down and in front of you to softly gaze at.

Just take a moment to become aware that you're seated,

Feeling your sit bones on the earth,

Feeling your spine nice and long.

And allow yourself to begin softening and relaxing the shoulders down away from the ears.

Softening the belly as you begin to feel the breath moving the navel point forward and back.

And softening in the chest,

Feeling an openness in your heart center.

Softening in your throat,

Your neck,

Your jaw and your tongue.

And letting go of all the muscles in your face.

Allow yourself to roll the eyes up to the space between your eyebrows if your eyes are closed.

And begin to soften the mind as you begin to take several natural breaths,

Attuning to all of the feelings and sensations evoked by Athara Mudra.

Begin to notice how your breath is gently directed down into your solar plexus.

That space in between the start of your ribcage,

Right above the navel point.

And in this space,

Begin to feel yourself creating an openness,

A receptivity to allow you to naturally begin receiving more abundantly.

Now take several long,

Deep breaths in and out of your nose as you begin to attune to the space within your hands.

This openness in the palms is a symbol of your openness to receive all of life's bounty.

Your open hands also affirm that you are ready to release any beliefs of unworthiness or an inadequacy that could keep you from receiving.

So take a moment to notice these thoughts and beliefs that might be blocking you.

Maybe you notice the sensations that are connected to these thoughts.

They might show up as tension,

Rigidness,

Tightness.

Just notice.

And take a moment to utilize your breath.

Maybe saying to yourself,

When I breathe in,

I breathe in abundance.

And when I breathe out,

I let go of all that does not serve my abundance.

When I breathe in,

I receive.

When I breathe out,

I release unworthiness.

I breathe in abundance.

I breathe out inadequacy.

Taking another moment to release those thoughts of unworthiness.

Those beliefs of inadequacy no longer serve you.

Let them go.

Now slowly turn your attention back to your breath.

Turn your attention back into the open space within your palms.

The open space at your ribcage,

Your solar plexus.

And take a moment to reflect on that which you are asking to receive.

Noticing both your surface level needs as well as your deeper intention for love,

Self-worth,

Inner peace,

Or whatever it is you long for.

Now,

Make your request to your source,

To the divine,

The universe,

Whatever you identify with.

And choose words that reflect your intention clearly from the deepest part of your being.

Repeat this request three times.

Utilizing your inhale to bring that request in and using your exhale to let that request become every part of your being.

Now visualize that which you have requested within the palms of your hands as a manifest reality.

Envisioning all the ways that this request will support your life journey.

Visualizing it as if it's already happening.

As you complete this visualization,

Surrender your request to the divine source.

Seeing recognition within your heart and soul that the universe always provides exactly what you need.

Allowing you to continue your journey with openness and receptivity.

Leaving in that deep trust,

The deep trust and connection with source.

Will now affirm your openness to receive by repeating the following three times,

Aloud or silently.

I open to receive abundantly by aligning my needs with the one source energy.

I open to receive abundantly by aligning my needs with the one source energy.

I open to receive abundantly by aligning my needs with the one source energy.

Take a moment to notice how you feel.

Visualizing all the present sensations in your hands,

Your fingers,

Your arms,

Your heart center and your entire body.

Take a nice deep breath in and on your exhale,

Slowly releasing your hands.

Allowing them to place in your lap or palms face up in your knees.

Just take a moment to pause.

Seeing a shift in prana and life force energy which is also abundance.

And take a few more deep breaths to sense into your complete receptivity.

And when you're ready,

You can open your eyes,

Returning slowly and gently to your space.

Noticing the abundance that is already surrounding you.

Thank you for practicing with me today.

Namaste.
