Hello everyone,
Welcome to just a simple energetic grounding meditation.
Find a comfortable seat,
Either in a chair or on the ground.
You can add a cushion underneath your seat,
Whatever you need to feel supported and comfortable.
As you get out any last movement,
Begin to slow down your breath.
Lengthening each inhale and each exhale.
The inhales allow your breath to be drawn all the way to your low belly.
The exhale is releasing anything stale.
Begin to bring awareness to your seat,
To the soles of your feet.
Visualizing tendrils of roots starting to grow into the earth.
Each round of breath sends those roots a little deeper towards the center of the earth.
There's no rush to this growth.
Allow your breath to gently guide this expansion.
When those roots are able to access the center of the earth,
Taking as much time as you need to get there.
Allow those roots to start to sip up that grounded earth energy.
Feel that energy travel up those roots to the soles of your feet.
To your legs,
To your sit bones.
And that energy continues to travel up your spine,
Your arms,
Your shoulders,
All the way past the crown of your head.
Staying present with your breath.
This nurturing energy to be drawn up from the center of the earth through your body past the crown of your head.
Noticing if it's taken on any temperature,
Color,
Or texture as it moves through your body.
From above the crown of your head,
Visualize a bright white light.
And allow that bright white light to start to pour down your head,
Down your shoulders,
Your arms,
Through your torso.
Past the soles of your feet.
Connecting to this supportive source energy.
And then,
Breathing your entire body in light and compassion.
And then,
In your own time,
Beginning to integrate these two sources of energy.
Allowing them to intermix.
Sipping up earth energy through those roots,
Let it travel up your body past the crown of your head.
At the same time,
Allowing that bright white source energy light to pour over you,
Wash over you,
All the way past the soles of your feet.
Integrating the sense of grounding with this sense of connection to source.
And then,
Embracing the flow of this energy through your body.
Continuing to lengthen each inhale and each exhale.
And then,
With your full permission to receive all this nurturing energy,
By simply staying present with your breath.
And then,
Slowly,
When this feels complete,
There is no rush.
Begin to bring your attention back to your body,
Back to your breath,
Maybe gently lifting your shoulders up by your ears.
And then,
With your hands,
Your shoulders down,
Your back.
Gently blinking your eyes open and allowing the space around you to come into focus.
Slow,
Full inhale.
And slow,
Full exhale.
With much light and love.
