Prayer For Guidance

We’ve all heard the expression “Let go, and let God.” Nevertheless, the idea of handing over the control of your life to God can be a scary proposition for most. Allow this prayer of surrender to help you to consider how much simpler, gratifying, and more fulfilling your life could be by offering yourself to Source and surrendering your will to the Universal will.

A prayer or guidance.

Please show me the path that my life's unfolding will take.

I know I must give up control of how my life will evolve and allow the higher power to guide me if I am to fulfill my life's destiny.

But it is difficult to release,

Let go,

And surrender.

I was taught for much of my life to be and stay in control.

It feels scary to let something else other than me guide my life.

I guess it's still up to me to respond,

To decide what guidance to follow and what not to follow.

It does feel good to be in spirit,

To connect to the power that directs the universe.

If that power can direct the universe,

Who am I to think I know more and better what is in my highest good?

I love when the feelings of peace and tranquility come over me,

If I could only surrender and have more trust and faith so I could let go of my need to be in control.

My journey has been an exciting one.

I've learned much.

My life has truly changed.

I've opened my mind,

Tried many things,

And unlocked my heart.

I have changed what I believe and who I believe.

I feel so privileged to have experienced so much.

I thank you source,

Please guide me and show me the path to follow as my life continues to unfold.

Please show me the path to love,

Joy,

Peace,

And tranquility.

I ask that you continue to help me feel deeply,

To experience life's pleasures and work through the challenges,

To feel the emotion of the moment,

To feel your presence always,

To feel love and to feel sorrow,

To feel pain and to feel joy,

To feel all of life within me and all around me,

Knowing no matter what,

You are with me always and forever.

Please assist me to find the balance between my head and my heart so I may feel the rain and feel the sun,

So I may feel the cold and feel the heat,

So I may truly experience and master the duality of human life.

Guide me to experience life to the fullest.

I will have faith and trust that my life is being guided by you,

Oh wondrous source,

And that everything is unfolding for my highest good.

I know when I have faith,

Confidence,

And courage,

My life feels so much better.

I want to help others feel what I have been so fortunate to experience.

My teachers have taught me much,

And I know they will continue to come forth into my life until I leave this physical plane.

I will forever continue to learn and grow.

Thank you source for all you have done for me.

My gratitude is enormous for this journey I am on.

I so much want to continue to feel my life fully,

To just be and let go of my need to be in control.

I want to experience life to the utmost.

I want to give to others what you have given to me.

I want the energy,

Courage,

Willpower,

And stamina to accept all life has to offer,

Knowing I can handle whatever comes my way.

I want to feel complete with no regrets when my time to leave approaches.
