Befriending The Darkness

As we move through our days, it is easy to forget that life is supposed to be challenging. The movies we most enjoy are those where the hero faces obstacles, encounters hardship, overcomes difficulties, and is transformed into a better version of themselves by the story's end. Nobody would watch a movie about a hero who remained unchanged, ending up exactly where they began. You are the hero of your own movie, and the challenges you face are a gift from Source to facilitate your growth and transformation.

This is a profound listening experience! How many times have I struggled with this darkness wishing it would end or seeking medication to make it stop!? More than I can count. I finally got the message that there’s something to be gleaned from this place that I feared. I almost couldn’t enjoy the in between times because of the dread of the inevitable return. Before my realization of this cycle I decided to visit a shaman to find relief for this very uncomfortable part of life but he was nowhere to be found. He seemingly disappeared from my area. As a result I realized that it was not something that needed healing but something that is a part of the human experience. As time passed I still found myself trying to hurry up and learn what light is being uncovered within my darkness so it will end. lol What evolution is it bringing? I’ve learned now to see it coming and to go with the flow a bit more knowing that it will bring an epiphany of sorts now that I understand better the purpose of the experience. Thank you for sharing your gift and your light. It helps tremendously to connect with those who can put into words what many of us are experiencing. 🪷
