Welcome to this morning gratitude practice.
Before the day begins asking anything from you,
Allow yourself this moment to simply arrive.
Take a slow,
Full inhale through the nose and gently exhale through the mouth.
Again,
Inhaling deeply and exhaling,
Letting the body soften.
Feel yourself waking up,
Not just physically,
But emotionally,
Spiritually,
Energetically.
This is a new day,
A new beginning.
And before moving into action,
We begin with gratitude.
Bring your awareness to your breath.
Notice that your breath has been with you throughout the night.
Steady,
Faithful,
Unconditional.
Take a moment to feel gratitude for this breath,
For the simple gift of being alive.
You are here,
Breathing,
Awakening,
Beginning again.
Now bring awareness to your body.
Notice the body that carries you throughout life.
Even if there are aches,
Even if there is fatigue,
Even if healing is still unfolding,
Offer gratitude to your body.
Silently say,
Thank you body for carrying me.
Feel the meaning of those words.
Now bring awareness to your heart.
Notice the quiet rhythm within you.
Your heart has continued beating without needing your control.
Take a moment to feel gratitude for this quiet miracle.
And now think of one thing,
Simple or profound,
That you are grateful for today.
Maybe it's the warmth of the morning light.
Maybe it's the opportunity for a fresh start.
Maybe it's the people you love.
Maybe it's simply this moment.
Let gratitude fill your chest,
Not as something forced,
But as something felt.
Notice how gratitude softens the body,
How it opens the heart,
How it shifts your energy.
Gratitude reminds us that even amidst uncertainty,
There is beauty.
And from this grateful space,
Begin to set an intention for the day.
Ask yourself,
How do I want to move through today?
Maybe your intention is peace.
Maybe it is patience.
Maybe it is trust.
Maybe it is joy.
Today,
Let that intention settle into your heart.
Silently repeat,
Today,
I choose presence.
Today,
I choose gratitude.
Today,
I choose trust.
Take a deep inhale,
And as you exhale,
Imagine stepping into your day,
Carrying this grounded energy within you.
Let gratitude be the lens through which you meet this day,
Not because everything is perfect,
But because this moment is precious.
You are alive,
You are here,
And this day is a gift.
Take one final deep breath in,
And exhale with gratitude.
