Welcome.
You've done enough today.
You've thought,
Cared,
Tried,
And carried more than you may realize.
This is your time now,
A gentle return to stillness,
A remembering that your worth has never depended on how perfect you are.
So let's take a breath together.
Inhale softly through the nose,
And exhale slowly through the mouth.
Again inhale,
And let it go.
Let's begin.
Place one hand on your belly and the other over your heart.
Allow the breath to be gentle,
Like waves arriving and leaving the shore.
Inhale to the count of four,
Hold for two,
And exhale to the count of four.
Let your jaw soften,
Your shoulders melt.
There's no need to be anywhere else.
There's nothing to fix.
You are not a project.
You are a presence.
Let your body begin to feel the softness of safety.
No one is judging you here.
No one needs anything from you here.
You are safe to just be.
Let's begin a gentle reflection.
Sometimes perfectionism is not about being flawless.
It's about being safe.
It's about avoiding rejection.
It's about scanning the moment for potential issues before they arise.
If your mind tends to replay moments or imagine future scenarios,
It's okay.
That's your nervous system looking out for you.
Tonight,
Let's give that part of you permission to rest.
You've protected yourself enough.
You're allowed to relax now.
Repeat silently after me,
I don't need to be perfect to be peaceful.
My value is not in my doing,
But in my being.
I'm safe to release control tonight.
I'm safe in my body.
I'm safe in this moment.
Let's scan the body for any leftover tension.
Bringing awareness to the crown of our head.
Notice any sensations.
Now the forehead,
Unclench.
The eyes,
Soften.
The jaw,
Unlock.
Let the awareness travel to your throat.
Breathe softly here.
Shoulders,
Release them downward.
Arms,
Elbows,
Wrists,
Palms,
Let them rest heavy.
Move the awareness down your chest,
Into your heart.
Let it expand with warmth.
Soft.
Hips,
Let them drop.
Thighs,
Sinking.
Knees,
Shins,
Ankles,
Feet.
Completely supported.
Let this awareness soak in the message.
You are worthy of rest.
You are allowed to be imperfect.
You are enough.
There is nothing more to do.
There is only this moment.
Let yourself drift gently into sleep.
Your body knows how to rest.
Your spirit knows how to heal.
You are held.
You are whole.
You are home.
Now that your body is relaxed and your heart is open,
Let the music hold you.
There is nothing left to do.
Just receive.
Allow each note to soften you even more.
You've arrived.
Enjoy the music.
Let it carry you into deep,
Nourishing rest.
Good night.
