Welcome to this hour-long track to use while you are lying in the dentist's chair.
I invite you to a foot-focused visualization.
I will guide you to bring your awareness down to your feet while the professionals are taking care of your teeth.
The farther your attention extends,
The easier it is to relax and let the procedure unfold.
It's a great way to shift your focus and enjoy the visit to the dentist,
Helping you feel more in control and less anxious,
Much like a daily meditation.
You are already set up.
The process has begun.
Your mouth is open and you are ready to relax.
Start by taking three breaths in and out through your nose and close your eyes.
As you breathe,
Imagine a ball of light sitting at the crown of your head.
You can use the dentist's lamp,
Which is already on.
Put your awareness into it.
The light becomes the main object of your concentration.
As you breathe,
Bring the light slowly from your crown to your throat,
Through your torso,
Down your legs,
To finally reach its destination at your feet.
Imagine the light gently tickling your left and right foot.
A wave of warmth and comfort is rising from the light enveloping your foot.
We will concentrate on your left.
As you continue your deep breathing,
Let the light gently envelope your big toe,
Your second toe,
Your third toe,
Your fourth and your fifth.
The ball of light travels from your toes to the sole of your foot.
Let the relaxing sensation move up and down.
This awareness climbs up your ankle and now surrounds your whole left foot.
Your right foot is ready to receive the ball of light.
A part of it travels to your right toes.
As you continue to relax,
The ball is softly visiting your big toe,
Your second toe,
Your third toe,
Your fourth and fifth toes.
This gentle light moves beneath your right foot to relax its sole.
With another deep breath,
The light reaches your ankle and your whole right foot is relaxed.
Now that your feet are surrounded by the soothing balls of light,
Take a moment to recall a pair of shoes that you loved.
This could be an old pair,
A current pair or even a completely imaginary pair that comes to mind.
Take time to look closely at them,
Notice their color,
Their purpose and the time of your life when you had them on.
Once you have admired them closely,
You can put them on and feel the comfort of this pair of shoes.
Take some time to walk,
Run,
Dance or fly with this beloved pair of shoes.
Stay connected to your body's sensations and remember you can let the dentist know if any discomfort or pain arises at any time to ensure your comfort and safety.
You can keep your shoes on,
We are going for a walk in nature.
The water is nearby and you feel drowned to it.
You slowly walk through a forest guided by the sounds of the waves growing louder.
The path is smooth under your feet and a deep green,
Thick moss covers the soil.
Your walk is completely supported,
You are almost floating.
After a moment,
Just beside a big tree,
You discover a very long beach at the shore of a large lake.
You are alone.
Choose the time of the day,
It can be the sunrise,
The sunset or any time you prefer.
If you feel cold too,
You can remove your shoes to walk barefoot on the sandy beach.
Take your time to enjoy all the sensations the sand carries to your feet.
Your walk brings you near a large and solid wooden dock.
It's long and suspended above the water level.
This dock offers a view of the lake and its surroundings.
Walk on it and admire the landscape.
Feel the texture,
Temperature and humidity of the structure beneath you.
Pay close attention to the wood grain,
Anchoring yourself in the present moment.
This will help cultivate mindfulness and calmness.
Sit at the end of the dock and plunge your feet in the water.
The sensation is exquisite.
Take your time to fully imagine this moment of cleansing and renewal,
Allowing feelings of comfort and trust to deepen as you experience this divine moment of refreshment.
The light balls are shining around your feet underwater,
Creating mind-blowing effects.
You are in awe and completely relaxed.
Take time to admire the dance of the light under the water.
I invite you now to lie down on the wooden dock and let your feet dry in the warm wind.
The balls of light are still surrounding your feet,
Offering them a pedicure.
Feel them massage your toes.
The sole of your foot.
Your Achilles tendon.
And your ankle.
A nice brushing sensation removes what no longer serves,
Leaving you with a sense of renewal.
Take some time to enjoy this royal treatment.
You can finish with nail care and polish.
Remember the color the balls of light are using.
It carries a message for you.
Stay connected to this relaxed state and enjoy.
I will guide you back at the end of the session.
Awesome.
It's now time to come back.
With every breath,
Bring the balls of light up in your body.
Let them rise to your legs.
Your torso.
Your throat.
Your mouth.
To finally reach their destination at the crown of your head or maybe back into the dentist's lamp.
You can thank the light and let it go.
Bring some movement to your feet.
Move your toes.
And wiggle your fingers.
Come back to the dentist's room and chair.
If the work in your mouth is not finished,
Continue to breathe deeply in this relaxed state you have just cultivated.
I will leave you here.
The music will continue to sustain your relaxation until the treatment is over.
I hope this guided meditation brought you the comfort you needed.
