This poem was inspired by the late spring we are experiencing in my village and its effects. I live in Maple Syrup Land, and until now, the boilers have been silent. This Japanese-inspired poetry serves as a reminder that nothing is guaranteed; Nature has the final say. In a world of rapid and constant change, we should practice adaptability and be prepared for the unpredictable.
