Hello and welcome.

Take a moment to find a quiet space where you won't be disturbed.

Sit comfortably with your back straight and close your eyes.

Or lay down and close your eyes.

Whatever is most comfortable for you.

Breathe deeply and slowly,

Allowing your body to relax.

As we begin,

Remember that God's love and forgiveness are always available to you.

Inhale deeply through your nose,

Hold your breath,

Exhale slowly through your mouth.

As we continue,

Focus on each breath as a reminder of God's grace.

Bring to mind the specific actions or words from your past that weigh on your heart.

Be honest with yourself about the hurt you caused others or yourself.

Silently confess your sins to God.

Remember that He is merciful and eager to forgive.

Here are a few supporting scripture verses.

First John 1.

9 If we confess our sins,

He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Matthew 6.

14-15 For if you forgive others when they sin against you,

Your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

But if you do not forgive others their sins,

Your Father will not forgive you your sins.

Ephesians 4.

32 Be kind and compassionate to one another,

Forgiving each other,

Just as in Christ God forgave you.

Visualize God's forgiveness.

Imagine God's loving presence surrounding you.

Picture Him extending your hand,

Ready to forgive and cleanse you.

Heavenly Father,

I come before you with a contrite heart.

I acknowledge my mistakes,

My shortcomings,

And the pain I've caused.

Please forgive me.

Lord Jesus,

Just as you forgave those who crucified you,

Help me forgive those who have wronged me.

Place me in a forgiving heart toward anyone who has hurt me.

Holy Spirit,

Guide me in releasing any bitterness or resentment.

Grant me the strength to forgive myself for my past actions.

Thank you for your boundless grace and love.

Amen.

Take a few more deep breaths.

As you exhale,

Release any remaining guilt or shame.

Trust that God's forgiveness is complete.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes and carry this sense of forgiveness with you throughout your day.

Remember,

Forgiveness is a journey,

One that leads us closer to God.

May His love and mercy continue to transform you.

God bless.
