Space is the pause in between the inhalation and the exhalation,
Where all creation is possible.
Let's take a comfortable seat to begin.
Becoming aware of the breath,
Inhaling and exhaling,
Noticing the sensation of the breath and seeing if we can refine that sensation to become subtler and subtler as we breathe in and breathe out.
Simply closing the eyes down,
Keeping the face soft,
Neutral spine,
Feeling free from any tension.
Inhaling the belly rises,
Mid torso rises and chest rises.
Exhaling the chest releases,
Mid torso releases and abdomen releases.
Inhaling the belly rises,
Mid torso rises and chest rises.
Exhaling the chest releases,
Mid torso releases and abdomen releases.
Exhaling the belly rises,
Mid torso rises and chest rises.
Exhaling the chest releases,
Mid torso releases and abdomen releases.
Noticing the space of your body expand as you breathe and gently drawing the awareness to the space around you.
Inhaling for the count of 1,
2.
Expanding open,
Exhaling for the count of 1,
2,
3,
4.
Elongating the breath expansion,
Opening space.
Inhaling for the count of 1,
2.
Exhaling for the count of 1,
2,
3,
4.
Inhaling for a count of 1,
2.
Exhaling for a count of 1,
2,
3,
4.
Now following the breath in on your next inhalation,
Allow it to travel behind the eyebrows,
Beginning to gently concentrate on the back of the eyebrow center.
Bring your attention back behind the center of the eyebrows deeper into the mind.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Taking a moment now to look up inside the sky of the mind.
Staying completely anchored in the breath,
Feeling completely grounded here.
When we've come to know the space,
Organize the space and love the space,
This beautiful mind,
All relations organize and the intelligence of the mind and all creation begins.
Look towards the abundance of the sky of the space.
Seeing the sun entering into the mind,
Illuminating the sky of the mind.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Now see if you can move the inner eyes slightly further back,
Back behind the eyebrows,
Inhaling and exhaling,
Following the breath and feeling the expanse of the breath.
Now see if you can imagine or visualize your awareness now expanding outward from the mind,
Beginning to expand outside of the room gently and slowly,
Becoming aware of the space as the mind expands outside,
Taking a moment to notice all of the senses.
What do you hear?
What do you feel?
What do you see?
Expanding now beyond the outdoors,
Moving up and expanding the awareness to the outer sky,
Staying anchored with the breath,
Breathing in and breathing out.
Looking at the expanse of the sky,
The openness of the space and looking out feeling completely grounded,
Staying with the breath,
Moving beyond the cities and towns,
Seeing it become smaller and smaller,
Noticing what you hear around you,
Notice the openness and expanse of the sky,
Noticing the color and noticing the feeling of the sun.
Expanding the awareness now even more,
Seeing the treetops become small,
Peaks and mountains become points,
Seeing above the clouds expanding even more,
Feeling the warmth of the sun and looking down to the face of the earth as you move outward,
Expanding,
Now reaching out and almost holding the earth with the palm of your hands.
And in this moment,
Breathing in and breathing out,
I am that.
Taking a moment to look around and notice,
Seeing the stars,
I am that.
Noticing the sun,
I am that.
Noticing the moon,
I am that.
Breathing and exhaling,
Gently and solely,
We begin to move the mind back towards the earth,
Entering into the clouds and noticing the sky,
I am that.
Noticing the clouds,
I am that.
Noticing the water,
I am that.
Noticing the grass and the meadows,
I am that.
Noticing the mountains,
I am that.
Noticing the sunset,
I am that.
Looking back closer and seeing the peaks of the trees,
I am that.
Breathing in and breathing out,
Hearing the chirping of the birds,
I am that.
Noticing the heat of the sun,
I am that.
Noticing the leaves of the trees,
I am that.
Watching animals playing,
I am that.
Seeing people walking,
I am that.
Seeing the cars go by,
I am that.
Noticing the bees and the flowers,
I am that.
Feeling the sensation of the breath,
I am that.
Feeling the seat on the ground,
I am that.
Seeing the ground,
I am that.
Breathing in and breathing out,
I am that.
Listening to the sounds around you,
I am that.
Breathing and exhaling,
I am that.
Taking one more breath,
Feeling completely anchored now.
Slowly and gently,
When you are ready,
Opening the eyes.
