Welcome to this rest and recuperation session.
This meditation will help us to align the mind,
The body and the spirit.
It focuses on restoring our energy levels,
Helping us to release blocks and toxins,
And nourishing our body with love,
With energy and healing.
So get yourself nice and comfortable before we begin.
Grab some pillows and some blankets.
Lying on the bed or somewhere comfortable.
And it's natural during any meditation for our mind to wander.
Just see your thoughts like clouds passing in the sky.
Noting them,
But letting them flow.
Bringing the awareness to the breath.
The sensations within the body.
And we're going to start by taking some cleansing breaths.
The cleansing breath is where we let go.
On the inhale,
We nourish the body with a rich supply of oxygen.
On the exhale,
We let go of anything that no longer serves us.
And we slow the breath down.
Exhaling with purpose.
The purpose of release.
And lean into that feeling of release.
Let it all go.
Anything that's been too heavy for you to carry.
This is your chance to put it down.
And when we take these deep breaths,
We replenish the body.
Nurturing the organs and the cells.
Giving the mind the tools it needs to process.
So allow your breath to guide this practice.
And scan in the physical body.
Are there any areas of tightness?
Any build up of tension?
Letting the shoulder blades soften.
Letting the chest expand.
Guiding the breath to fill these spaces.
And let that tension dissolve.
And feeling all of the energy within you.
Becoming aware of energy that flows and spins around the body.
Filling your aura.
Filling the space that you're in.
Feel it rising up from your feet,
Pouring into the palms of your hands.
Allowing you to be grimded,
Centered and strong.
Allowing you to feel positive and empowered.
Our breath and our energy is the knowing that everything is going to be okay.
You're in a safe space.
A space where you can let go.
So fall into that sensation.
Let the body sink deeper.
Every single muscle softens.
And I want you to visualize that you're floating down a lazy river.
The surface beneath you is holding and supporting you as you gently glide through the water.
Your body rocks peacefully.
And there's a real sense of peace and serenity in this space.
Blue skies above.
Glimmering and reflecting on the crystal clear waters that surround you.
The sun shines down,
Warming your skin.
And the sun is feeding you with all of the nutrients that you need to thrive and grow.
Feel the waters wash up and down the body.
Washing off anything that's been weighing you down.
Letting any stagnant energy fall from the body.
Your body is weightless.
And there's no one else here.
There's nothing else to do.
Apart from let your body be replenished.
Let yourself be free from thought and worry.
And as you float here,
Seeing this column of white light enter the body,
It comes in through the top of your head at the crown.
It trickles and flows and expands through every cell,
Every space.
Every part of you that needs healing is illuminated.
And it flows all the way down the body,
Exiting at the soles of your feet.
As it enters your mind,
It clears any mental blocks.
It organizes your thoughts.
It gives you a sense of purpose and inner peace.
And it moves into the chest and you can feel the chest and upper back warm.
It's growing and growing.
Feel it move through every layer,
Opening up your heart right at its core.
And for the cycle of breath,
Just feel yourself immersed in love.
You're worthy and deserving of love.
Everything you need exists within you.
See your heart illuminated in white light,
Illuminated in love.
And it flows down,
Moving through every limb,
Every muscle,
Covering you with strength.
And that strength builds and builds your physical strength,
Your mental strength.
Your body is renewed,
Fed with nutrients,
Fed with healing.
And just saying to yourself,
I am safe and I am loved.
I am worthy and deserving.
I am healing.
I am capable of anything.
And spend as much time as you need to on this lazy river.
Feel in the sun.
Watching the white light flow up and down,
Spread out all along the body.
Whenever you're ready,
See a door appearing at the edge of the river between two trees.
Step out,
Push it open and find yourself home.
Bring in with you the white light,
The healing and the love.
As you come back into your space,
Begin to see the white light fill up every room in your home.
You might even see it spreading out further and further,
Covering those that you love,
Covering every space that you touch.
Bring your focus back to that feeling of strength with every inhale.
Feel that strength grow and grow.
Whenever you feel ready,
You can open your eyes.
