Welcome to another guided meditation with Ivy and Light.

Today,

We are focused on healing and balancing our root chakra.

You may choose to use a crystal to help enhance this meditation,

Such as onyx or red jasper.

You may also like to use a grounding essential oil,

Such as palo santo or frankincense.

Let's begin by finding a comfortable position,

Either sitting or lying down.

When you're ready,

Gently close your eyes.

Take a few deep breaths,

Allowing yourself to relax and release any tension or stress.

Breathe in,

And breathe out.

Breathe in again,

And breathe out.

One more time.

Breathe in,

And breathe out.

I want you to imagine yourself in your favorite natural environment.

Maybe this is a meadow,

Or a forest,

Or the beach,

Wherever you feel the most happy and relaxed.

Visualize yourself there,

Standing barefoot with your feet touching the earth.

Feel the earth beneath your feet,

Solid and supportive.

Imagine roots extending from your feet down into the ground,

Deeper and deeper,

Anchoring you solidly to our earth.

Go ahead and hold your crystal against your heart.

Feel the gentle pressure against your chest.

Feel the vibrations pulsing into your body,

Flowing through your heart,

And out into your arms,

And down into your legs.

Feel that connection with the earth,

With the gifts the earth has given us.

Flowing through your body,

Flowing through your feet,

Through those roots,

And back into the ground.

Take a moment to embrace this feeling of solidity,

Of balance,

Of strength.

Imagine your feet planted firmly,

And your spine straight,

And your head stretching towards the sky,

An antenna attracting even more beautiful earth energy,

Down through your crown chakra,

All the way down through your body,

Through your feet,

Down through those roots,

And back into the earth.

With each breath,

Feel your root chakra becoming more vibrant,

More alive,

Allowing energy to flow back and forth between yourself and our beautiful earth.

Now starting from your feet,

Gradually scan your body for any areas of tension or discomfort.

Imagine that discomfort as bundles of energy that do not belong in your body.

See that energy dislodge from your body,

Flow down and out the bottoms of your feet.

Look around your body for more discomfort.

Allow that energy to loosen its hold and flow down,

Down,

Down into the earth.

Continue finding discomfort or any feeling of stress.

Identify,

Loosen,

And allow it to flow down into the earth.

How wonderful does that feel to release those energy blockages,

To release stress and discomfort,

To send it down into the ground,

And restore our natural harmony and balance when we are connected to earth.

Let us end this practice today with a powerful affirmation.

Repeat after me.

I am connected to earth's energy.

I am supported.

I am strong.

I am connected to earth's energy.

I am supported.

I am strong.

I am connected to earth's energy.

I am supported.

I am strong.

Before you ease back into your day,

I want you to take a few moments to reflect on any sensations or emotions that came up for you during this practice.

What insights do you have to carry forward into your day?

Are there areas of your body where you're tending to store discomfort?

Remind yourself later today to check back in for more discomfort and again release that down into the earth.

And one last time,

Let's gather up any discomfort with a deep breath and release it together.
