Welcome to this 3 minute guided meditation for letting go.
You can begin in a comfortable seated or reclined position.
Softly close your eyes or bring your gaze down.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale through your mouth.
Let's do that again.
Inhale deeply and exhale letting something go.
Feel your body supported by the earth beneath you.
Allow yourself to arrive fully in this moment.
Bring your awareness to your breath,
Feeling the cool air in,
The warm air out.
There's no need to change anything,
Just observe.
With each inhale,
Invite in calm and presence and with each exhale,
Allow tension to melt away.
Let go of any holding in your jaw,
Your shoulders,
Your belly.
Allow gravity to do the work,
You are safe to soften.
Now imagine that you're holding a small stone in your hand.
This stone represents a worry,
A memory,
Or a burden you've been carrying.
Take a moment to acknowledge it without any judgment.
Now gently place that stone into a flowing river,
Knowing it no longer belongs to you.
Watch it sink peacefully into the soil,
Being held and transformed by nature.
Take a final deep breath in and a slow breath out.
Silently repeat,
I let go of what no longer serves me,
I am free to begin again.
When you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
