Welcome to this full moon meditation for lunar energy and letting go.
Find a comfortable seat or lie down.
Close your eyes and take a slow,
Deep breath in through your nose and release it gently through your mouth.
Feel the weight of your body grounding into the earth beneath you.
With each exhale,
Let go a little more of tension,
Of thought,
Of holding.
Imagine above you the glowing full moon,
Radiant and steady in the night sky.
See its light shimmering down,
Soft yet powerful,
Bathing you in its silver energy.
With each inhale,
Invite the moonlight into your body.
With each exhale,
Release what no longer serves you,
Tension,
Doubts,
Old stories.
Breathe in light,
Breathe out release.
Picture the moonlight filling up your chest,
Your heart center.
Watch it expand with each breath.
Feel its glow washing over your body,
Clearing heaviness,
Dissolving what you are ready to let go.
Like the tides responding to the moon,
Allow yourself to ebb and flow.
Notice where you feel any tightness,
Resistance or holding on and offer it to the moonlight.
In your mind's eye,
Imagine you are holding a small basket filled with the stories,
Patterns and emotions that you are ready to release.
See yourself walking to the edge of a calm body of water under the moonlight.
Gently place the basket into the water.
Watch the ripples carry it away.
The moonlight reflects on the surface,
Receiving your offering.
Feel the relief,
The spaciousness,
The clarity that comes with surrender.
Affirm silently,
I release what no longer serves me,
I trust the cycles of renewal.
Now imagine the moonlight sealing your energy with peace and protection.
You feel lighter,
Clearer,
More open to what is ahead.
Take three slow,
Deep breaths,
Each one drawing in lunar energy and exhale letting go of the past.
When you are ready,
Bring gentle movement back into your body,
Wiggling your fingers and your toes.
And when you feel ready,
Open your eyes,
Carrying the glow of the full moon within you.
